What is a stretch that one can do when you cannot put one leg on top of the other? I’m trying to get to that point, but I’m not there. Any suggestions I can get halfway to the figure four But for some reason, my ankle won’t reach to my knee Bear in mind I have cerebral palsy and a lot of tone and a lot of spasticity , but I stretch Every day and have been undergoing physical therapy my entire life While I have improved in a lot of areas, this is still a problematic area for me Because not being able to go into the figure four Means that I can’t independently put on shoes and I’d like to be able to do so

Thanks for the good explanation. Just wonder if the twist movement should start from the pelvis/hips or is it just a rotation of the upper body?

Great question! Definitely start from the pelvis/hips. I encourage my clients to rotate their belly button😀

a great example of over instruction and missing the point that the barbell (weight, broomstick) should be over the head inline with the shoulders, hips, etc

Thank you so much for producing these videos! I was looking for live instruction for some of the exercises in Running Rewired. The author has a couple of videos that cover part but not all of his workouts. Also, his text description and photos don't capture all of nuances that you do here! 🙏

I cannot do lunges. This was listed on google as a replacement? I do the lunges in place with dumbells, but I am too off balance for it. I think I can manage these. My question also is if they work all the same muscles. From what I was told, lunges work glutes, hammies, quads, and calves. Is that correct? Thank you for any help.
