@RTSoutdoor Awesome. At my Mom's in Delaware for the holidays. Brought my Panda Air Large with me. Gonna set up in the back forty for a test run in the low 20's at night here. Love your videos! You inspired me to buy mine! Happy Holidays to you and your wife!

Have to keep fan running to stay inflated = Junk. Wouldn't have it. Sure ain't for off grid.
@RTSoutdoor2 күн бұрын
I do agree, it's a major problem to have the keep that fan running, but in it's defense, it's not in any way meant to be used off grid, it's not a tent. BUT, I do have a few review videos up of awesome inflatable hot tents that do not require a constant blower, and are perfect for off grid! The biggest would be the Coody Koala 7, check that one out, it is sweet, and I've had it in the 70s in there with the stove, when it was 14 degrees outside.

If you ever decide to go off grid do yourself a favour and avoid the Bluetti because you will freeze to death when it fails.
@RTSoutdoor4 күн бұрын
I was wondering about that actually. I saw a review on Bluetti recently and I can't remember for the life of me who did it, but it was a guy who gives it straight, and he had almost nothing good to say about it. I believe he said the Anker Solix was top notch though, does that sound right? At the moment I use Jackery 300s but they dont last very long.

Can it stand strong wind ?
@RTSoutdoor4 күн бұрын
I took it camping in 14 degrees and decently strong winds last week and it stood great, I had stakes all around. I don't know crazy the winds could get before it became a problem but it held up great for me.

Cool tent.
@CaptivatedByOutdoor5 күн бұрын
There is a solution to use an electric heater for the Koala 7 more efficiently. This tent is actually a two-room tent. The internal wall is removed in the video for having more space. However, if such wall is used, the electric heater can be placed in one room (a bedroom), and in such case it should work better because i) it works to warm up a smaller room and ii) loss of heat from a smaller room is less. Just thinking. )

On the stove can it be used as a permanent heat source for off grid cabin
@RTSoutdoor6 күн бұрын
That's a good question, I don't see any reason it couldn't, although personally I think maybe something like a cast iron wood stove would be more fitting for a permanent setting.
@CaptivatedByOutdoor6 күн бұрын

I would like to see the Mr. Buddy heater used, if you are boondocking and have no electricity 😊
@RTSoutdoor6 күн бұрын
The problem with Mr Buddy heaters is they don't last very long at all. The only way to get any length of use out of them is if you run them on the lowest possible setting, and according to their own specs, even the Big Buddy with two propane tanks, will only last you 11 hours on low, and 3 hours on high, so as a main heat source I think those are a fail already, and the low run time fails even as just an overnight alternative to the stove. I may do some testing with them just to see for myself and answer these questions in an actual field test.
@Ddccpp21525 күн бұрын
@RTSoutdoor I would love to see that, thanks!
