How easy was the mass air conversion kit?

I know this is an older video, but Cheif still does the same thing with their inventory. I ordered Xoar prop yesterday that said "In Stock" on their site only to find out they were not in stock and that they substituted it with a Falcon prop last minute. Not really a big deal as Falcon props are great, but it'd be nice to see them update the inventory on their website and even nicer to have a more advanced heads-up on substitutions.

Did the kit come with a template for mounting the 70? I have a PAU 60cc Extra 330SC. There’s a mounting template for the DA60 engine but not for the DA70.

That smoke nipple on y header is factory made or you put it there?

I had one of those old school AM recievers and controller, I couldn't use it. It would take off on its own and I couldn't get it to stop. Interference I guess? I switched to the 2.4ghz anyway.

The old xl1 probably didnt have a bec built in for regulating voltage for the servo because it was only ever designed to run 7.2-8.4 which is high but still acceptable for a servo of that size.

Sweet truck! How do you like the cam? Does it still have good bottom end torque? Also, how well does it work with the automatic? I have a 94 Flareside with the 5.0 ho and a e4od automatic. I love the sound, but am worried it will stall out then I put it into gear.

if u remove the red wire from ur reciver wire and run a separate weaker battery for ur servos and u will be fine,the servo cannot handle 11.1 volts

7954s(steel gears) arn't good for gas planes because of the vibration! Your also not getting 400 oz torque on your servos..all servo specs are given with 1" arm. Looks like you have 1 1/2 - 2 inch swb arms which means your only getting 200 ounce torque. ..just FYI. Not a bad build and nice walk through.

oh yeh i forgot the price is under 400 dollers compared to 800 just for the da engine so if you were wondering about the chinese engines this one anyway is great and im a da owner also
