I'll never forget driving down the backroads in rural Canada in 2002 at 2AM and hearing this come on the radio. I would have been 17 at the time. I didn't realize anything like this existed. God bless CBC music.

My best band from 2021/22 was Maudlin of the Well who disbanded in 2003. Found them in late 2021 though I knew their successor Kayo Dot exists
