A criminally overlooked band. Their live album is a masterpiece.

their lyrics feels like when you read or hear a random sentence and your brain keeps randomly repeating it through the day

@@stormyeux Thank you for an immediate reply & interest! Wow. If you're into how Bowie & Eno made albums & the creative comradery they shared, it's a must! I even recommend this book to non creative people, I was buzzing after every chapter. I had to write a song after reading some sentences or paint a picture, it's that good. Inspiration Hello! ha ha Would also like to add "the william Burroughs cut up technique" was actually Paul Bowles, Burroughs just developed it, Bowie made it great & here we are ha ha One of my favourite parts of the book is when Bono from U2 is trying to get ENo to do a second album & Eno is like "Ugh not this asshole again" LOL Have a creative day Stormy :)

@@stormyeux Thanks stormy, I am just happy people like you are out there. I love LWB, I got into them too late like most. I don't know where you are from but I am English & I live in Sweden now, I used to listen to John Peel radio show & "TAPE" bands, & make tapes for my friends, way before I became a musician. I'm 53 now, had a record deal, had my fun & now just make music at home...I started making music at home in 1987... I didn't have a clue waht I was doing I was just in love with sound & 4 track tape recorders! ha ha I wish you success, but please make music YOU like & F everyone else, if it's good, they'll come :)

Was lucky enough to see them supporting Hefner at Northumbria Uni around 2000. I was (and still am) a big fan of both! Interesting rumour that the lyric in LWBs tune "Sorrow" ("don't smoke in the bed with me") was a direct reply to Darren Haymans lyric in the Hefner tune "Hymn for the cigarettes" ("I love it when the girl smokes in my bed"). Amazing times x
