One of the better 5 min commercials I've seen. At least the first 10-15 seconds was good. I got blankets like this for all my emotional support animals at Wal-Mart because I want them to be comfy.

Any jackets will Gore Tex will definitely waterproof. Uniqlo water resistant is not waterproof.

I know its spot clean, but the more you use it the dirtier it gets. What is another way to wash this blanket? I'm thinking about using the nearest laundromat so i can put it inside one of their large washing machines and wash this on low-cold since it has Glass Beads so it should be safe.

So that is definitely another way. I do slightly modified where I will put the blanket in a protective nets so that the blanket does not get scratched in the laundry. This will prevent any beads coming out. Then hang it on a large rack after a extra spin. Another way to keep your blanket clean is get a cover for it that is like a duvet cover but specially for the blanket. If you have a duvet duvet cover that you don’t use anymore then you can just sew it for this blanket!

U can use the delicate setting in washing machine without anything sharp. You can wash it with towel and bed sheets etc. Then put in dryer as delicate too.

did you soak this jacket into water during washing process? and how long you wash this jacket using hand? is it necessary to iron this jacket? i have it, but its looked messy after wash, need to iron it, but I fear it will be broke the seal

You don't need to soak it. You just delicate wash it and air dry it. Don't put into dryer or use iron because it will compromise the Gore Tex membrane. And if you feel your jacket isn't repellening water much then use nikwax after it is dried then it will be good as new! Thank you for watching my video!

The beads are quilted and distributed. You must've bought one with a cover (kinda like a duvet) The newer ones from Tranquility brand come with a removable cover. So it's actually the whole blanket that is falling, not the beads. Take the cover off. You'll enjoy your blanket much more without it. But the nice thing about the optional cover is that it is machine washable (unlike the actual blanket inside).

I got it from a place called rual king. Every so often they have a special buy think and this was on it. I couldnt turn down the price cause i know that they can be exspensive.

Oh nice!! It's good that you have a place like that. It's definitely a good buy! Not sure where you live gets cold but I find that if you use it over your regular blanket, it can keep you extra warm because it keeps the heat in. Just a side tip :)

nice video. glad i got to see how blocktech faired against the acg. Uniqlo has two lairs. the first is just water repellent so it will absorb heavy rains, but the second lair which can be seen on the inside of the jacket is what is waterproof.

How can i wash my blocktech? I just bought it 4 days ago and i don't know shit about washing water repellant jackets

I was it the same with as my goretex jackets. If your washing machine has gentle cycle use that and the cold water as well. Hot water can deterioate the waterproof coating fast. Also make sure it's just a short cycle too. You don't want the jacket to be in there too long. You can use little detergent. After it's done, hang dry it. Don't tumble dry because that can deterioate the waterproof coating too. I hope that helps! Thank you for watching my video!

Thank you for watching! I do think it is good for wearing it regularly since it is made out of breathable material so your dog won't over heat. I use it while taking my dog on a walk, park, etc.

Not much of a review tbh. I have the 15 lb one and love it. It does sleep hot as it's not super breathable fabric. But I like being toasty, and that helps me sleep. I find it does make my cycles more deep and restful... But maybe too restful as I have depression and have been known to sleep 13hrs straight before this blanket. But I've also noticed it has decreased my tossing at night.

Hi! I think you will definitely a pullover or the inner shell that came with the 2 in 1 ACG jacket or one of those puffy jacket that uniqlo sells for inside. Then it will keep you warm! I hope this helps! I just wore this in Utah where it was snowing and the acg inner shell withe the outer shell made me warm!
