You should get comfortable sorting through the women's section, many of my best finds are men's clothes that are placed in the women's section on accident. You learn the women's brands as you go.
@Retired2Resell22 сағат бұрын
Yeah that’s how I find most of my women’s clothes, when they are put in the men’s section. Haha. I really need to start going through the women’s section more often and learning those brands too.

Bape is one of the biggest rap and hip hop brands from the 2000s. Japanese streetwear, same designer of HumanMade and Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream. Nigo I had a lot of bape in college during its resurgence again 2015-2020

Hi Jim this is my first month selling and it is a A LOT OF WORK. This is a part time for me and was having a lot of issues with the photos trying different lighting . The only parts that makes me super happy is sourcing and when something sells. I do not like cleaning steaming , listing part of the business let’s see how it goes . Great content you actually said like it is , many make seem like is a piece of cake when in fact is a lot of constant work
@Retired2ResellКүн бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! Yep the sourcing is the best part for sure. The rest of it can be a grind, just like any other business. Keep at it and you’ll find a system that works best for you.

@@Retired2Resell thanks for being consistent and transparent, I watch as many as I can
12 items a day = 12 hours. That's 4 hours max. U napping in between? That's not work. 😅 Stop the spreadsheeting. IRS will NEVER require that EVER.
@Retired2ResellКүн бұрын
Yep I’m old and require at least an hour nap after every picture I take. 12 pics x 84 = 1,008 pictures in 1 day plus listings, then shop the rest of the week. Spreadsheeting is for me not the IRS.

Do you promote listings on eBay?
@Retired2ResellКүн бұрын
I promote my listings that have a really large number of similar listings and competition. But I don’t promote items that have very high sell through rates.
@michelewebster5363 күн бұрын
I just went to a local estate sale. Usually the women’s clothes and shoes are gone first. So I decided to look at the male’s closet. 🎉I found 1 Ermenegildo tie, 2 Versace ties and 5 Robert Talbotts. Thanks to your video 👍🏼👌
Really appreciate these videos and love how you retired to resell! It’s taking everything I have to wait until I’m 65 to retire. Lol I’ve got two more years and it feels like 20. May I ask what you did for healthcare coverage?
@consignmentwares143312 күн бұрын
There is no such thing as a sell through rate above 100% Just ask any elementary math school teacher. A 200% sell through rate literally means you had 100 units of an item but sold 200 units. What magic did you use to make the other 100 units appear out of thin air? The proper formula and data is: Items Sold / (Items Sold + Items Still Listed + Expired Unsold Listings) eBay's Terapeak will never show a sell through rate above 100% since its mathematically impossible!

Hey, first time watching your channel. This video came across my KZbin home page and immediately caught my attention since I was looking for a way to make more money with the money I have already. Do you just go to thrift stores and buy whatever looks resellable? I would like to start a side hustle outside of my job in order to get an on-going cash flow, but I have no idea what reselling is all about. Would greatly appreciate if you could help me jump start.

I have something to share that happened today. I came across a pair of mens shorts by Seedless Company. They are really different and had a pic of Bob Marley on them. I paid 1.99 for them. Asked for 36.95 and sold in 2 hrs. No record of sold but 2 listings 69.95. I was going to try 49.95 but decided on 36.95. Wild. 😊
@Retired2ResellАй бұрын
I haven’t heard of that brand. Sounds like a good one! Sometimes if there aren’t any solds I will go with the higher price and accept offers and see if someone makes a decent offer. If not then I’ll drop the price. Good tip on a brand, thanks for sharing!

@@warroad did i write returns? you trigger easily... you must not return items you buy and just try to scam a refund WHILE keeping the item... is that you bill? the fact you think someone who wants a full pay back while keeping the item is a return is low iq at best... and ps there are lots of scammers on ebay and it seems youtube too!
