Thank you for this thorough review. Ifstrings also caught my attention ! I would buy one of these Master builds out of curiosity and hoping the sound is as good as it... sounds :D I have a few questions, if you want/can answer me : how about the shipping, did it go well ? And after more than 5 years, how is the violin aging ? Is the sound evolving, how about the varnish ?... Thank you again !

I submitted a tape audition to Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and this was one of the pieces. Brahms: Symphony 2 violin excerpt from mvt I (mm. 101-155)

try using different G D strings , for something with more throw , but some (most) cheaper violins suffer up the finger board , a decent bridge strings and bow can open up budget chinese guitars around $500 . as can years of playing

Why would you pay high price for a bow that doesnt lend well to the instrument?? You arent the first musician who’s had a bad taste from the coda bow. Louie Leguia cellist for the Boston Symphony and inventor of the carbon fiber stringed instruments HATED THE CODA BOW!!

keep working and practicing, you will succeed.your sound is actually quite good.there are some spots where you are heavy on the bow.try a slightly lighter touch never ever give up and enjoy

Not bad at all. Play it by heart…I’m sure you can by now. Concerning your bow… can you play spiccato, sautillé, leggiero etc. with it? The tension already looks a bit tight… is it a bit heavy?
