Aztec Girl Sorry I don’t. When shopping for a beginner violin, just make sure it isn’t plastic or plywood. DZ Strad instruments are all spruce and maple which is good. Also check out Sharmusic.com. I’ve been buying from them for 30 years.

Chuck G Violin Thanks for telling me about the website! I decided on the Amadeus or the Maestro violin! They sound like very good violins. I didn’t want to spend over 400.00 since I am a beginner. But as I have been researching, I read that an adult beginner is different than a children beginner because adults can get discouraged if they have a bad 79.00 violin because it’s hard to progress and improve the sound. So now I am going to research the two I mentioned and see which one I think would be better for me. Love their website!

Why would you pay high price for a bow that doesnt lend well to the instrument?? You arent the first musician who’s had a bad taste from the coda bow. Louie Leguia cellist for the Boston Symphony and inventor of the carbon fiber stringed instruments HATED THE CODA BOW!!
