@alltherpm what's the reasoning behind going with the 372XT carb? I'd be curious if it'll flow enough fuel. Those things have massive bores but the fuel jets are all funky. People put them on modded huskies and they are supposedly finicky. Hopefully it works! I'm sure a 394 carb would work nicely aswell if that carb doesn't. That's a walbro WJ with a .815 bore I'm pretty sure
@alltherpm7 күн бұрын
@griffinphilemon5083 it was for my farmsac 372, oem walbro, only reason was it had the same bolt.pattern, I tried a husky 266 carb but was a 19$ china crap and didn't work, so didn't expect this carb to be any better but it runs real good!! But not sure yet in wood

@@alltherpm Animals are having a WONDERFUL time... except the chickens; they are staying by the heater in the henhouse. Many people see my sheep or cows out in the "cold" with snow in their backs and feel sorry for them (assuming they're cold). Actually, it's claimed that a sheep's "comfort temperature" is 28F. I love seeing snow in their backs and face... it means that they are so healthy and have such a proper fat and proper winter coat, that they are not even losing enough body temp to melt the snow. My critters are happier right now than they are when it's 90 deg. ...it's just me and keeping water thawed and whatnot that has a little extra work; but that's sure enjoyable work if going at it with a song in your heart!! Sorry for rambling again!!

I'm not much of an artist; the "house" was supposed to be "home plate", or more accurately "Base"... Cut Base. The "period" was from a tooling crutch I had to make for your cylinder. I admired that combustion chamber/squish when I saw the cyl!! Hope I didn't seem like I was talking bad about your interpretation of my hieroglyphics, I sure didn't make them too clear 😉😉😂😂 Anxious to hear/see it run!!

@griffinphilemon508320 күн бұрын
@alltherpm not impossible. Ive got a couple of old mac 10-10's that make 5+ hp. These old saws give you a lot of room to work with for mods. Especially doing stuff that wasnt meant to be done😆
@alltherpm20 күн бұрын
@griffinphilemon5083 thus being a reed saw is a totally different animal as well, ive ran it with a fully ported cylinder ( homelite), with the pioneer piston 155psi comp and was atleast 4hp, now i changed it with pioneer cylinder it's 230psi, for every point higher in comp 9.5 to1 to10.5 to 1 is 6% gain, so b4 it was 9.5 to 1,so 230psi is 13.1 comp!! I should see almost 20%+/- just from comp increase, also u didn't no but i totally blew it apart to trench cases, it has aftermarket reeds to engine numbers are 104ish exhuast, 126 transfers, squish 30. Thanks for commenting, i have video of it coming, and will have another if it runs

Yep it cam out dam good 4 a rookie, first time making a exhuast, I'm redoing mufflers now, ones done but it takes alot of drilling & baffles to quite this beast,I'm doing 3 chambers I like the high pitch noises like flowmasters, not a real big fan of fiberglass packing, which that would of been easy

It's loud, it's like bullets but a little quieter, I did put 2 baffles, but kept it free flowing compared 2 flowmasters, I have other ideas for more baffles maybe this winter, but 500hp is hard to muffle without restriction
