so it appears this is the answer for the one probelm ..I chANGED THE BATTERY BECAUE IT HAD NO LIFE... BUT INITIALLY IT WAS NOT STARTING WWBVECAUETHE KEY WOULD NOT MOVE, NOW ONCE I GOT IT TO DO THIS SOEMTIMES IT DOES EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID IT GOES COMPLETED OUT.... THEN YOU WAIT IT STILL STUCK IN THE WONT MOVE PLACE ...KEY LIGHT STAYS OFF IT IT GET IT STARTED, BUT IF THE KEY LIGHT STAYS ONION IT WILL SHUT OFF ON ABOUT 10 MILES OF DRIVIGN. O i WONER IF IT MIGHT BE THIS PROBLEM AND A DAED KEY BTTERY AS THE KEY LIGHT INDICATOR SOEMS TIMES COMES ON WHEN I AM DRIVING, TODAY WHEN IT DID THAT IT JUST SHUT OFF I COULD FELL IT . oNCE I FINALY GOT THE KEY TO TURN IT DID WHAT YOUR DID.. THEN I WAITED AND , AND THENTHE KEY TURNED I WAS ABEL TO DRIVE HOME 38 MILES...HOPING THAT KEY INDICATOR NEVER CAME ON OR I KNW IT SUT OFF... CAN YOU TELL ME OTHER THAN THE POST CONNECTION TO CHECL?

Great video, thank you! In my case, sometimes times the clutch is engaging, sometimes not. When it doesn't, there is no ground at ac relay base load side, pin 87 (so bypassing pin 30 with 87 does not work). Pin 30 receives power each time. When it engages, compressor works fine, cold air is blown. What could cause the lack of ground on the load side of the relay base? from the climate control diagram, there is no other control between the clutch and AC relay, only a connector. Can it be only the wire/connector going to the clutch or also some other possible causes? many thanks!

If you were putting the leaf spring helper kit on the trailer that you were pulling would you still put them on the back of the axle? Or would the positioning change a bit? Thanks.

I bought a 06 chevy silverado 1500 ext cab only had it few days. Came across a issue that didn't happen when checking out the truck to buy, got in it turned key dash lights go out doesn't make any sound nor trys to start. When I let off the key dash lights come back on, took me a few mins of trying to figure out what was going on and got the idea of tilting the steering wheel up from its lowered position turn key and starts right up.. anyone know what could be causing it to do that ???

This guy talks too much .Get to the point " QUICKLY "..A WIRE ON THE FORD SOLENOID GOES DIRECTLY TO THE STARTER ..UNHOOK FROM THE SOLENOID AND TOUCH THE POSITIVE.. THAT'S THE SAME DAMN DIFFERENCE AS PULLING THE STARTER OFF AND " BENCH TESTING "...THIS MODERN GENERATION IS SO EFFING MIXED UP NO WONDER EVERYTHING IS MESSED UP !

Why does my fuse also have an 87A?

On any 2 wire setup you can simply test for power and ground at the compressor plug with the ac switch on and off.

so, I did this and the jeep didn't turn on, but i did get a crank of the engine. does this mean that it is the starter? I mean the fuses are good. the relay should be since i swapped what I could.

My daughter have a hyundai veloster and not starting, turn on everything normal ,but when you push the starter nothing happen...i did this test and i lt does try to start. So that means its not the starter???

Excellent troubleshooting. No start, always check the battery then starter. You made checking the starter so "simple and easy." No crawling under the car. Much "mahalo" (thank you in Hawaiian).

Okay, so the jumper works to cycle the clutch. But replacing the relay does nothing. I'm convinced the old relay isn't even bad. So, now what?

Welp....I'm back again now having a problem with a crank no start. Diagnosis of prognosis with atrocious osmosis & precocious logic ... first check fuel psi on fuel rail at sh-aider valve extra messy leaking gas all down up in there. Secondly check for spark using a spare spark plug laid up on the manifold on the plug wire. Impossible to see in the engine bay for spark and turn ignition key at the same time, this is where I remembered your trick jumper at the relay. Other option was to call my bimbo wife out to help me for a minute. NOPE...she was too busy inside making me a couple sandwiches. To conclude the day, there was a huge fire as I had to drop everything to go inside urgently stomp out the kitchen somehow set a blaze and losing two perfectly good PB&J sandwiches. Shtuff happens.....

So I have a different relay 2006 Hoda Odyssey, relay in kick panel, tried this with 3,5 gold is coil 1,2, nothing but when I push relay back in it started...does it still mean bad starter ? Checking because I have intermittent starting, had to get tow for one time. Trying to figure it out....

I'm just wondering why the ac compressor i just bought the clutch can barely turn it. And it comes with a paper saying it should be rotated at least 10 times using a spanner torque wrench. Never seen that before.
