So much body movement from Jocky. It's a wonder he could play.

Writing this just after watching Luke Littler win the PDC for the first time. Crowds were miles better back then and actually made a bit of effort to keep the noise down between throws!

This is one of those moments where you can remember exactly where you where when it happens, our house in Dovecot Liverpool, when he hit the double my Dad jumped up in the air and smashed his head on the doorframe, hes only 5ft 6 but ill never forget it, i was 10 years old.

These guys were incredible athletes at their peak fitness, their dedication to their training was incredible, 10 pints a night, 40 fags and a curry on the way home. To maintain such discipline over their careers must have taken iron willpower 🤗

Literally the only difference today is that they brought in 5 minute breaks after every set, so players can drink and smoke backstage 😂

We had Jocky come to our local in Fareham over 25 years ago and what a star, plus we had an opportunity to play one leg of 701 against him. I still have the photo taken on the night. Great memories, great player, sadly no longer with us.

Loved to watch darts back then but this was a 20 dart leg which is really poor form for a number 1 player like Bristow. My favourite players back then were Jocky on the Hockey Wilson and John Low. A few years after this match Phil Taylor the GOAT was dominating the game. As much as I loved the players from my childhood in the 80s & 90s none of them would of stood a chance against Taylor.

Two athletes at their prime. Bristow ran out of steam. Jocky just stretched those muscular arms for one final leg and took the title.
