How long did it last ??? Well its still in there and looks as good as new, i'll be posting an update vid one day as i filmed the inside with a borescope, subscribe so not to miss it :)

The back plate had corroded around one of the mounting bolts. New plates added to both front callipers.

I didn't want it coated in the sealer :-O

With what I recall there was no surface rust at all, just a shinny clean surface :)

I had first had the brackets in the wrong place and had issues with the side stand, but once that was corrected all was fine, until I went out for a ride and found the centre stand was hitting the road on bumps... Cured by cutting half off the rubber stand stop that's mounted on the left hand exhaust pipe. All fine on my last ride :)

Thanks Steve, yes I'm well happy with them thanks, I had put one of the collars on wrong at first and it was blowing, sorted that out and yes.... I cleaned the original exhaust system up today and apart from the odd dink I was surprised how good the condition was.... Now stored away just in case I stick it back on :)

Hi that's correct, I've just tried it myself as its been a few years ...Press Menu on the amp/remote and use the remotes up/down and ok buttons to scroll through the options...To do a factory reset on the amp, hold menu on the amp until it appears on the TV.

Just shake as much water as you can out. It's not crucial to be bone dry until you do the sealant. If it's not dry when doing the sealant it'll flake off

Hi Erik, during cleaning and prep absolutely no problems with the chemicals on the paint surface, but if you get any sealer on the paint I would remove this straight away.

Hi, I've only just bought them (Dec 2020) My bike is still in the Vac-Bag and it's been in there since Oct 2019. Come back in the spring when I shall fit them :)

@@swampusmaximus That's not what you show...read what you say in big yellow words! at 10:40....you are leaving the tank in different positions to coat the tank....Sorry this is not the instructions that Frost say...you roll the tank around and pour it out. leaving the tank to soak in different positions just wastes time as the the resin only cures in the presence of air. It's no big deal doing what you did but misleading for others who attempt to copy you.

@@meckanicall This was done nearly 8 years ago and whatever I did worked, all still fine with no issues, at the beginning of the video I mentioned that this was a guide and one would assume that any person doing this themselves would read the instructions supplied with the product in case of any changes etc. I really do believe that you have pointed something out that's not really an issue, but thanks anyway :)

Hi, yes you are so right, no such thing as a old skool type bike now, such a shame, Kawasaki did bring out a few years back a revamp of the Z900 but that was let down by the plastics and due to emissions the exhausts looked awful IMO, Yes I still have the bike, currently in the garage in its plastic bag once again, its been in there since Oct 2019, with the lockdown I decided to leave it there and intend to get it out next March...Now that's a 18month rest for the thing, thanks for you feedback btw :)
