Hi! Just want to start off by saying that your videos are absolute lifesavers for me, and I don't know how I've gotten this far without them! I do want to ask if there might have been an error at 13:54 when you begin to mention the Reconstruction Act. You and your presentation state that it passed in 1857, but the textbook and common search say 1867, specifically March 2, 1867. Which one is right?

At 3:56, the slides state that the central Pacific ran from Nebraska to the East which I believe is wrong. The Central Pacific Railroad ran from Sacramento, California to Promontory, Utah. same for Union Pacific as it ran from Nebraska to Utah, not California. Can you please clarify?

Hello! I’m taking the AP exams this year and I was wondering if we’d have to know a lot about recent history- ex. Presidency of Donald Trump & Joe Biden as well as what happened during that time.

I don't think you should worry too much about it tbh. According to CollegeBoard, any content from 1980-present makes up only 4-6% of the exam, compared to other time periods which each take up 10-17%. I would say it's very unlikely that they'll ask anything more than a simple MC question about present day, so you probably don't need to prepare to write a DBQ/LEQ on it. Hope that helps!
