My friend was basically trapped by a woman who flattered him and made him feel appreciated for who he is. Once they got married, it suddenly became all about what he could do for her. Men need to be aware! Women need to be authentic.

My guy was kind of a player when we first met, but I wasn’t looking for a relationship, so I’d go out with him sometimes and tell him no thanks sometimes. We can express shame to someone. Thats the only eay to connect in that moment. There is no point in wanting to have another emotion, if you didnt really tell " i feel ashamed" to a close one. Thats the first challenge on your way to good emotions, to be courageous enough to express difficult feelings first.
