the temperature indicator is merely showing the Peltier temperature, not the ambient temperature。 it does not make sense to use Peltier to cool the surrounding, this is the very inefficient device anyway, you have a done a nice job of creating this cooling device。

I did this easier, just get the cap off and fill it with your compressor, i put in 8 bar but it lasts really really short, waste of time in my opninion

Nice looking product. I especially like the temp display and the massive heat sink. Earlier today I couldn't find the tall square ss pipe i was looking for but found an aluminum one shaped very much like yours.

Great idea but I have great concerns about the danger to this man's hands and fingers. I fear there will be a few fewer fingers in this man's future. BE CAREFUL with your own, please.

You didn't mention the name of that coil. You just shoved the "heating element" text . Heating element is not the name of that coil.

I am trying to set up a peltier 12706, supplying power from a 12 Volt, 6 Amp transformer rectifying & filtering it into 12 V DC. At first the heat sinks on the hot side is heating up and cold side is cooling respectively. A few minutes later the cold side is also heating up. How to rectify this?

Hate to burst your bubble, but I can make a dowel with about 99% fewer steps. Place your square dowel into a grove and plane one corner. Rotate, plane the next corner. Repeat process until smooth. Takes about a minute per rod, none of this machining required.

This is typical window type AC were wall mounting will give barrier between hot and cold hot side needs to be cooled faster to get real cooling affect

Apparently, in third-world countries, the angle grinder is the ubiquitous "machine shop in your hand." I don't think they'd have The Wheel without it. It's plain to see they wouldn't have The Axle.

Really well done and a great idea. I wonder if you've thought about adding some incline and resistance? I did notice the base a little wobbly during use maybe a few more supports here and there are needed. Great job I wonder what the cost was.
