I own two of these now. One is vintage blonde with maple and the other is Sherwood green with rosewood. I think they’re awesome and if you search there’s a lot of amazing FSR colours over the years. Fiesta Red, Shell Pink, Daphne Blue, violin burst (hand rubbed), Black, Natural, Surf Green and Aztec Gold with matching headstocks! Then stock models came in Olympic White, Lake Placid Blue, Sunburst, etc. Damn I want them all!😄😁😃

Holy smokes! Great bass deserving a better demo and explanation! This bass can do a great P-bass sound. A great J-bass sound. You can even get a Stingray sound, and there are still 9 more sounds that are very musically useful! There are other demo's out there that are more helpful.

What year is this model. I have the SCN pickups on my 2006, with an entirely different set of S1 options.

Got a 2011 model of this for $1100 in mint condition aside from a few minor scratches on the back. Such a joy to play!

The perfect jazz amp, right? Love me some cool jazz and bossa with this amp. Come on, you need to dig in, it's a ROCK N ROLL AMP!!! No need to be shy. First time seeing and hearing this amp and now I'm really let down here. Gonna find a better review/sample of the amp.

compared to other amps Super, Twin, Deluxe, Bassman, the bandmaster breaks up earlier. more usable without pedals imo

It's not the strings that make it sound so good, it's the pedigree...Good job demo'ing the guitar I came over here from the reverb ad, anyone has a cool 20 grand they can ship it to your door! (+ 400 for shipping insurance) A lot of sellers won't even ship guitars this old... Sounds pretty good, but it's all refinished! (I watched the repair video also) Very nice sounding all the same... I'd have to sell a few banjo's to afford one of these babies...

I’m in the process of shopping for a new guitar. Sold my strat. I’m torn between the Gretsch electro magic 5420t and the Epiphone Les Paul 59 standard. I play a lot of acoustic, old country and folk. I also love to play a lot of punk rock green day, living end, but also into grunge, 90s pop rock like third eye blind, love the 80s stuff ,particularly U2, cure, clash, cult, inxs. I also grew up on zeppelin and like the old blues rock. No idea which way to go….any thoughts?
