Hi. What bennefits do I get with a change to the Schaller locking tunners, in my 2011 Power Jet and 6118 Anniversary? Better tunning stability?
@Oscaraleptico7 жыл бұрын
I've noticed it stays in tune a little better under heavy tremelo use

Much faster string changes.

i can't imagine ever seeing a Gretsch factory tour, to me these are mystery guitars, coming from anonymous asian factories, quality craftsmanship and quality control don't need to be defended, and these guitars can seem very good, so why hide the Gretsch factories ?? what is Gretsch hiding ?
@ErwinHeiser8 жыл бұрын
The reason is probably that those factories produce guitars for several different brands. Nothing wrong with Japanese (pro series) and Korean (electromatic series) manufacturing though.

Yes, this is it. There is no "Gretsch factory". It's a Terada factory owned by different people who probably don't feel the need/desire to arrange a public tour for one of their many clients.

Look for a “T” for Terada in the pro-models. The Terada factory creates EXCELLENT quality in everything they do, and they’ve been at it for a long time. This is something I’m certain about because Terada-made under different brands: I’ve owned one and “baby-sat” for others and brother: I emphatically trust these guys (guitars). 🤟

@@JohnnyFriendly they are no joke: if it says Terada and has passed their QC, a guitarist needs nothing more. 🤟
