I have eight Tyndale NLT budget Bibles. All around 20 bucks. They’re the best. Waterproof fake leather covers. No sticky gilding. Nice and floppy with no maps. I can scan any page and get into study mode if I want to on the app.

You are a God sent my friend I've been looking for an EDC and my type of bibles are on the small side because I have small hands for a guy. Just ordered this bible from lifeway on a great deal. Hoping this bible is compact enough to carry places with me and an 8.5 font is perfect for my eyes thank you for making these videos it's a blessing and can always make me laugh from having a bad day

I have no problem with that imitation leather. Leather conditioner can be used on imitation leather and it will last for years. I would prefer the brown faux leather as opposed to the black leather. Just because I think it looks nicer. The print in the bible seems to big enough for enjoyable casual reading. Thank you for the bible review.

Wish the inside gutter was a bit wider. Looks like they used their wide margin text block and shrunk it down. No problem with longer reviews.

Have you gone through the Berean Standard Bible? You should check it out. A mix of nkj, nasb 95 and NIV 84. Hope you do a review on it.

i love the maclaren, but it is difficult at times to read even with my glasses. it must be the type of font because i have a 6pt font esv that i can actually read easier 😵‍💫

How does the paper quality/ print of the burgundy one compare with the tan one? Is it much better and easier to read?

This is my favorite daily Bible. Love the CSB translation, the single-column format, the font style and size, the clean layout of the text, the size of the Bible, etc. I wish they would make the exact Bible with better materials and binding and I’d buy one in a heartbeat!

Nice but for preaching a single column verse by verse would be better.

Ow does the leather feel compared to the Tuscany / aniline leather?

I had one, good for the glove box or mild child proofing in the living room, but the index tabs would catch non-stop and it annoyed me constantly. I think without indexes it's probably great (or do your own with the sticker type).

I had a compact McClaren NKJV, kept it in my glove box or in my gym bag inside a gallon freezer bag, and it held up decent for over a year. I did have to glue the cover corners up once, it was fine after awhile, maybe another year... and then I just couldn't do the fine print anymore. For whatever reason, I don't like the full sized as much, they're not cute and cozy?

Thank you so much for giving viewers the perspective of see the Bible in your hands in relation to yourself and your surrounding! It really helps give a sense of its actual size, something most reviews don’t show. It's kind of hard to tell if a Bible is personal size, compact, etc. when it's just sitting on a table. I think I’ve found my new everyday carry Bible!

Not a bad little bible. I have one like that but in NLT that i use for church. Looking for an everyday ESV and im leaning more towards a thinline

Oh, man, I wish I could see this in person. I am tempted to switch from ESV to NKJV. Or at least try it. But 7 point sounds super small. But I've heard there's been a bit of disagreement on font sizes and such, especially between different translations. I wonder how this compares with my ESV Large Print Compact, which is 8 point. But if this one is 1) line matched and 2) black letter, it may work for me. I can still see my ESV, just not for long periods of reading. It's an older one and I don't think it's line matched. The red letter is especially "muddy" and strains my poor old, tired eyeballs. Anyway, thank you for this review. There's a faux leather one at Christianbook for about $20. Maybe I'll just buy it and if it doesn't work for my eyes, I can donate it.

Well you just cost my $17.00 on Amazon for the burnt sienna bible. I love the CSB and wanted a good cross reference Bible. A little worried about the font size but I’ll just wear my hot pink mags. Oh and when ever I want a book review I watch your videos first. In fact I bought the giant print compact NLT after your review. So thanks for being around.

I use this as my “study” bible, it’s written in and everything. Love it, it’s helped me draw closer to god. Definitely going to get myself a more “premium” bible soon though.

That cover is stunning! I love it! Silver gilding--MY FAVORITE!!! I love all the colors in this bible and you know...I won't lie, these bibles are great studying tools for new believers that are adults. Why? Because of the information they provide. From the book introductions, timelines, spotlights, starring roles & focus (which I love), dictionary, location information and so much more! Some adult bibles don't have this and as I stated previously, a new believer would really benefit from this study bible. I think the only thing this bible would need would be a red-letter as I feel that it helps the student clearly see that these are the words of Christ. Other than that....Awesome Bible!!!!
