When mine arrived last week, I removed (tore) the nice sticker from the paper sheath. I wish I had watched this review beforehand - Ha! The version I have is the premier classic center-column verse-by-verse reference (brown leather) from 2019. It is the nicest Bible I own and it is a joy to read from it. It’s heavy and not ideal to lug around; but that is what compact Bibles are for! Great review of this super nice Bible!

Does the art gilt help with the pages not sticking? I got the green goatskin thinline last year and it’s the only Bible I have where I didn’t have to unstick the pages.

I think it’s a result of a higher quality gilding process. It shouldn’t be anything to do with the art gilt, which is just adding ink to the outside of the gilding.

@@Jd-808 I thought the ink under the gold or silver would help with the pages not sticking. I know what art gilt is, that’s why I asked.
