Although Titmus and O’Callaghan train with the same coach they don't train together as they are in different groups.

Summer will have momentum, I think she wins 400IM and makes podium on the 200IM. Will make predictions for gold after USA trials next week. For now I have Mckeown as slight gold favourite; she is a great racer... Douglas will be impressive next week too. If she can go 2.06 at USAs, it's game on!!

Ariane Titmus has just slashed 0.62 seconds off the womens 200 freestyle world record at the Australian Olympic trials. O'Callaghan also came in under the previous record in second place.

i'm trying to build up durability and swim long distances, i don't really have someone to help me and supervise me training myself so so I'm doing it all by myself. I only have availability to go at sea and everyday apart form a cold or windy day. Do you have some advice and will this help me loose, remove fat?
@SkillsNT
@SkillsNT 4 күн бұрын
Every physical activity has the potential to make you lose fat. The most effective way to lose fat is to move your body more and also move heavier objects (lifting weights for example). Imagine that you move (walk, swim etc 7 hours a day) and carry heavy boxes up and down the stairs. You would get fit no matter what. But that's not possible for most of us. So just more than you already do is enough for now. the most important thing is actually your mind. Since you are doing this by yourself it's actually harder to be motivated. So it's really important to define the best reason you want to get better and feel better. I hope this helps. The details on how to swim better are on most of our videos.

The 2011 final of the 200 IM did not produce the 2 fastest times ever recorded. Phelps’ time of 1:54.16 was slower than the previous world record of 1:54.10
