Hi! Stiff screwdriver with a flat tip (I prefer the ones that are meant to be for electronics). Your best friend here, a mirror that allows you to see the tabs. So, insert the screwdriver and feel the tab, pry and part of the airbag unit should come out. The other half should be a bit more hesitant due to the added tension, but nothing to worry. I realize now that I did not fill the process and I should do this more often. Noted! let me know if I can help you further =)

Hello! I replaced the entire exhaust line. This is catalytic converter, id silencer and end silencer. The last two were second hand =)

@@josephmcconnell4654 sorry for the late reply. Work is hectic at the moment! OK, D6 and R15 are not used in the new board, correct? Then D+ will be your D3-white, D- will be your D4-purple and final 3V3 will be your D2-red. You can also download the schematics of your board and do a mapping =). @@javitobosch Yeah, the page fully works, but the issue that i have is that my station has the MHI2_ER_SEG11_P3315 version, and now i found on the page that is another version MHI2_ER_SEG11_P4704_MU1308.7z. I dont know if it is the correct one, but is the only one wich is available as i can see... I downloaded it on an USB, connected to the car and it dont allow me to update the firmware. I think the car dont read nothing on the USB. (The USB wich i used is an new Kingston, i just used it only for this oporation).

Hello! I remember I did not have any radio station logo at all since I purchased my car and my dad with a 2015 Seat Leon had all of them. Quite annoying. I would suggest you to update the Radio Data Base (RDB). All steps are in the video =). Let me know if it helps

@@javitobosch well after update like you did in video, I turned on radio, and there is no logo on any of stations, I tried everything and didn't manage to get it back, even inspected folders that I downloaded and there is also no any logo inside. After all, I downloaded just pictures from some of radio station and do it manually, but still no success with automatic logo picture...

Hey! This is a really interesting case, to be honest. Android Auto working but CarPlay not. As fas as I understand they all come within the same software package. A way to proceed that I have in mind for you is to press the menu button for a few seconds (like in the video) and once in the Service Mode, click on the Function enabling Codes. There you should see the Apple Car Play/Mirror Link/Android Auto package and should also tell about status (something like Valid/Not valid/Not accepted). If SWaP, FEC code is OK, then verify that your iPhone has CarPlay enabled (Siri must be enabled for that). And if these to are OK, then I would ultimately take the car to the dealer for further diagnosis. Good luck and let us know what the outcome is! You might be helping someone else in the future!

@@javitobosch I updated with the Firmware from mibsolution from MST2_EU_SE_ZR_P0359T to MST2_EU_SE_ZR_P0369T and now I want to Update to 479. But my display always shows dependencies of update not met. But its the right Update for my car... dont know why it worked with 369 but not wuth 479

@@fritz3039 I was not aware of that. I actually just checked my car and you are right. It came form the factory with 514T (now 516T). The question that I have is why upgrading is not possible if you literally have the same HW as mine? Thanks for sharing!

Hi! Absolutely nothing. Preventive maintenance it is =). I know it is recommended to replace this part every 50000km but I believe that the dirtier it gets, the more oil vapors that will be entering the intake manifold and the more carbon build up will happen at the intake runners. Replacing this valve more frequently does not solve the problem, but will delay it. I chose to do this every ±20000km.

Hi! Honestly, I replaced it because of preventive maintenance. Did I feel any difference in response? No. Did I see any difference when cleaning the intake manifold and runners? Yes. Less carbon buildup. But, I must say this depends on the driver too =). I hope my answer helps you

Yes, later found out it was the GPU, but now it requires a pram reset often with a k1100m Even after flashing the card

Hey! I am super happy that you found this video useful! First of all, I believe the changes between 514 and 516 are minor. We as users are not really able to notice the difference. I must say that from 479 to 5xx my unit suffers from less freezing events (I had to restart the whole unit every time). Perhaps we are talking about the same issue? I think if version 514 works so well as you mentioned in your car, just leave it as is. On a separate note, I just installed 516 (video soon!) and it works as well as 515. I could see that there were minimal upgrades in CPU.main files (maybe for efficiency?). Anyway, keep me posted if you have any issue =)

@@javitobosch mine acts jumpy if im zooming in and out for example in the maps, that is why im not sure if the software would solve this issue as it seems like the touch capacitor in these cars are a bit old. Total freeze happens every 3 weeks or so. quick update:did the update and it took like 15-20 mins, as u said i did not notice any difference. Thanks man you are a genius!! -on another note though: i updated also the navigation, it works perfectly but what i find weird is that after the update it doesnt start with 6p0 anymore it starts with V0 even though i nade sure i fownload the 6p0. cheers man!!

Hey @dikketwigt. Good question! The oil around the oil pan failed, so I had to replace it. While doing this job I thought it might actually be a good idea to replace the oil pump as a preventive action, knowing that it was the original one and that the car had more than 146,000km. The pump itself showed a bit of wear on the gears, but nothing unusual. It just gives me peace of mind!

Did you experience low oil pressure alarms? I do and have to do the same to figure out the root cause

Hi! Well, I like seeing that the oil pan is able to cool dow the oil and keep it under 120Cdeg in summer. Th drawback comes during winter, when the oil really struggles to reach 80Cdeg and above. I just drive more carefully. I am not really thinking about an oil cooler as the car has an oil cooler. Small but enough I believe. And I agree with you: plastic oil pan is really not my preferred choice, and that plastic screw...oh man!

Hey! Apologies for the late reply. I did not notice any of what you mentioned. I did this job as part of preventive maintenance, since the PCV valve is full of diaphragms that are prone to fail due to wear or clogging.
