Great project. We have 3 of the 2011 iMacs that I've gotten off eBay for the families needs. I was lucky I was able to revive the 27 inch graphics card with an oven bake.

Yeah, the previous owner of the one showed in the video also did the same. He said it worked well for ~2years and then kaput again. That is why I decided to go ahead and upgrade. I like the upgrade and you can tell the difference (if you use the GPU), but I would never go for it unless it is completely necessary. Thanks for your comment and have a nice one!
