Can you still use the IHG check-in without booking directly through IHG? I am a IHG card holder with automatic platinum status… wonder if they would recognize my status as a card holder even though I booked through a travel agent.

what i dont get is the eletric work wouldnt it spark if the water ever came over the sides like during a storm? and cause a massive shock to the water?

This isn't at The Brando. It's at the Intercontinental Thalasso. They used to call it the Brando Suite because Marlon Brando loved French Polynesia so much.

Great video and info on this resort! My only issue with this video is the huge variation in the music volume compare to when you're actually talking. I had to keep adjusting the volume on my tv.

Not sure exactly, but it’s shallow enough to see the bottom, but deep enough you can’t stand up in it

Are the plane seats assigned? Just wondering if u have tips to get a port side plane seat to bora bora.

They are not assigned. Usually if you can get on the plane first, you can choose the side to see bora bora (I think it was the left side but double check it, I’m not 100% sure). The key to get on the plane first is to get to airport early and wait for the gate assignment, then as soon as the gate is assigned, everyone will rush to get in line. You’ll have to stand for 10-15 min in line but it’s worth it. Have fun on your trip!
