What do you recommend when it comes to selecting the PWM, for a Minn Kota 30. 0:14 0:14 0:14 I see 60 Amp and 100 Amp on you tube. If I upgraded to a MK 40, would the same PWM for a 30 work?
@Video-Bass-fishing7 күн бұрын
I would go ahead and get the 100 even it’s just rated for 60 amp continuous.

How much does a Pwm extend battery life by as compared to just running the Minn Kota (30) directly off the battery? I usually run in setting 2 or 3.

Or is it because your right hand is stronger than your left hand? Interesting test. Interesting idea. I always wondered which is stronger. Fished with the palomar knot for a while now. Never gave me trouble.
@virtue94615 күн бұрын
They’re tied to each other so the tension would be the same on each knot no matter how strong either pull is

Have a similar build and love your idea to steer and might try it .ive got a pole attached from the motor to a trolling motor extender handle mounted verticly that pivots like a stick shift and retracts when i lift the motor and this just seems more interesting. Ran all my wires and cords straight into the hull and they pop up where needed and cant recommend that enough .amazon had some cheap connectors that are glued into the kayak so you can just drop in the motor and battery at different ends and plug them in right there and plug the pwm in under the seat and they're all wired together internally and out of the way .wish i had gotten your coloe to match my jeep but those are a hard find lol

I picked up a fishing kayak a couple of years ago, but haven't had too many chances to do anything to it other than paddle it out a few times. I'm looking for some ideas to power it up so I can fish from it without worrying about trying to control my line while using my hands to paddle ... and I like your simple little steering box a lot. I'm looking to keep things as simple as I can too. I have my eye on some small lakes stocked with brook trout, but also some larger lakes for walleye. Life is short, may as well spend it fishing!
