Reed’s Ginger Brew is pretty solid. I also found this ginger syrup by Liquid Alchemy that is divine. I use their syrups for Italian sodas but I bet it’d make a great ginger brew too. You can also add ginger tea or ginger pieces to bubbly water and let it ‘brew’ add agave or honey and stir~! As for soy sauce, my current fave is Takesan. I order these online in the PNW of the USA so I hope you have access too.

Many Sushi places make ginger ale from scratch. 1) boil half a chunk of gjnger in 4 cups of water with half cup of sugar 2) after boil for 10 minutes, strain the ginger syrup 3) add 1/2 cup of syrup to 3/4 cup of tonic or seltzer topped with a splash of 7up ir sprite and a whisper of coca cola for color Serve over ice

I guess wherever I buy any ancient grain the package SHOULD have the cooking directions spelled out...but when you were explaining how to cook einkorn, you explained 2:1 ratio. So that's two parts water or veggie stock or whatever liquid one chooses to use & the one part einkorn. Ok...check...got that. However, since I'm one of those so used to already cooking brown rice, since the 2:1 ratio immediately got me to thinking, "oh...this is just like brown rice." But you didn't specify whether you should put a lid on the mixture & let it cook. You explained it like to leave it with no top & let the mixture cook/evaporate??? You weren't too clear on that. If you see my query here, please answer if you have the time. Thank you in advance.

If you use powdered buttermilk, you need to add a small amount of water (non chlorinated) to the powdered butter milk and fully let to become incorporated and smooth. If you just use the powder, you'll end up with lumpy crème fraiche, since there's not enough "liquid" in the creme and not enough time to dissolve.
