One starts to understand the team dynamics of this game after you avoid a tank in a game where got stomped because you feel it was their fault and then two games later you go against that same tank and proceed to get stomped.

This whole post is like politicians! We make it look like we've done a lot, but in reality we haven't done anything! Speed boost from start, ok we just made Juno and Lucio disposable! Spawn timers, so the skill of regrouping disappears.... Soft rank reset, changes nothing, hard reset however! Look at Apex hard reset, so much better! Battle tags? Really? Make every individual rank and mmr visible instead! Not to talk of balancing the game and fixing the matchmaker, which these changes will do nothing for! Bronze5 will still be bronze5 and top500 will still be 500 players, regardless of rank ladder! But any streamer would never say anything overly negative about neither the game nor the devs, don't bite the hand that feeds you! Biased to say the least!

What I find more interesting in that Group Respawn graph was that Plat had the least amount of one-sided matches, and GM and Bronze had the most before the feature appeared. Then group respawn came in, and the highest skilled players went from having the most amount of one-sided matches to almost the least. That’s a lot of interesting stuff you can dig out from these facts. Like maybe it has a lot to do with the amount of smurfs/boosted players in each rank.

A youtuber did a fight analysis of 4v5 fights and found that the 5 had a 75% win rate over the 4. My guess is in gm+ it's less likely that you have teammates who just run in, but if 1 out of the 10 players is running in, then the game becomes 1-sided. Forcing that 1 player to wait long enough for his team respawns gives the other 4 on his team a chance to actually take a team fight. In plat, most players are equally feeding and grouping, so chances are both teams are 4v4 or they take turns being 4v5. In bronze, plays just run straight, so it's less 5v5 and more 5 1v1s

I'm thinking it might be related to how GM has possibly the greatest range of SR - like how T500 players still got absolutely dumpstered by OWL players - in other words, it might be a data representation deficiency, where displaying a numerical SR/MMR might make more sense internally.

The way I understand it, last Clash point is worth three points but rather than having to capture the whole objective to get them you only need to fill up one segment for one point. So if you for example need a single point to win the game, you only need to capture one third of the objective to win

You could always get the bp to get the mythic coins so when your hero gets a mythic you can buy it right away without grinding

I have done all battlepasses to date but haven't bought all mythics. I skipped mercy (i prefer miko) and also skipped ashe (shit skin tbh) was debating on getting rein but i have his imperius skin which has a much cooler weapon anyways. So now i have enough prisms to buy the ana and reaper skins instantly, but i'll still buy the bp because i wanna be able to have the same options going forth. As long as there's some mid skins i'll be able to get the ones i want with leftover prisms. If they didn't use the prisms system and did mythics like before i wouldn't have gotten s11 battlepass because frankly it sucked ass
