Definitely make sure you add like a wood oil or something on top to help protect the wood! It will slightly change the color without being a stain, but I also think it'll make the burning pop.

i think maybe you should try to make ano outline with a pencil first, before just going in and burning, because if you try to make the flowers, and make mistakes, you're ginna have to keep buying new wood, but with the pencil, you can just erase

I used to do woodburning (pyrography), wood carving and wood turning until I got ill. I can't do it anymore but seeing others finding and bringing out the beauty in wood really lifts my heart ❤
