Take a close look at the propellers. Any damaged ones may need replaced. But make sure to replace with the exact same shape. there are two different shape of propellers, each for the two clockwise, and counter-clockwise turning motors.

They're both good fliers. But the larger/heavier ZY525 has a much harder time taking off from water. Its motors just don't have enough power to lift it up in a reasonable time. Not very slow. The slow flying that you see in this video is when I was flying into a headwind.

Holy Clone are just existing models like SJRC but double the price on Scamazon. They don't make drones themselves. There are some pretty nice drones for $120 with GPS, brushless, gimbal. That is true budget. I would skip anything in between that and a DJI or Fimi. So yes you're right, a $200-$250 Holy Clone or something is basically wasting money. But it also isn't the end of the world. If you accept the limitations you can still shoot usable video. It's not always about how good a drone is, but what you do with it. When I visit your channel you have only one video of your Mini SE and it only got 65 views, and 3 videos of you riding a motorized bike. But if for example you had a $200 drone with good working follow-me ( few have, most are programmed wrong) and a good interesting story of your bike ride, then you may have gotten a couple thousands views regardless the quality of the video. Know what mean? Some people film a cat with a 480P camera and get a million views. A drone is just a tool. People often forget. Nobody is going to watch a tree filmed from above no matter how fantastic their $3000 DJI Mavic is. I much rather watch a fun video taken with a cheap drone. Who cares if it isn't professional quality?

Turn on the drone and place it on a flat level surface. Then open your phone's WiFi settings, and look for the drone's WiFi signal. Connect to that signal the same way that you would connect to your home WiFi (no password needed). Then open the app. Video should now be viewable in the app.

This drone requires using a newer phone or tablet with 802.11ac 5 Ghz WiFi. Not everyone has this type of WiFi on their devices. Try using a different/newer phone with the drone.

The problem is that my hat camera, phone screen recording, and the drone's camera are usually all running at different frame rates. Especially the drone cameras might operate at close to, but not quite 30fps. The synchronization might need to be adjusted several times, especially in my longer videos.
