I've been flying RC craft since I was 9, I'm 75 now, the FAA is trying to keep their Kingdom growing. In 1976 I started working on my General Aviation Pilot certificate, back then most airports had huge stores with all sorts of training 'stuff' for sale, now days you have to drive a 100 miles for find a testing center and they had nothing for sale, just a $175 for a 2 hour test. I purchase three of the Dronetag BS modules when they were first released on an introductory offer, about $120 shipped, they only let you buy three. The APP doesn't work well on older phones but on a new phone two firmware upgrades were painless. The BS modules fill a void that the Holyton ($30 at 13.5g) like RID modules don't small light drones like the Neo (OOP operations) and long distance fix winged survey craft. Thanks for the review, I was wondering how the new 'Gen 2' modules worked.

The lightest solution to not comply lol.

I have two different / earlier versions : Both work flawlessly and are easy to set up, pretty much set and forget. Very fast shipping to USA, $20 pouch I think/remember

Things got so ridiculous with rules and BS, I quit keeping track of it all years ago and just stopped in. NOW you guys are actually going to RFID your quadcopters? (Not a DRONE) WOW!!! What next guys? They gonna insist on chipping pilots and insert one subcutaneously on your foreheads? 🤦♂ Good luck men (with a small m)

Why comply with this law? If you fly without remote ID youll never be found. PS. Remote ID on all American guns makes more sense.

Right now it cost $90 USD + tax and another $30 to ship to USA.I think It needs to come down to around $50 and stocked at A US warehouse to avoid the insane shipping cost.

I understand that many pilots elect to comply with RID (many have no choice, if they fly their drones commercially). For me, RID is ludicrous FAA overreach and completely unnecessary. So I don’t comply. Anyway, at my age the prospect of “life in prison” ain’t the deterrent it used to be. 🤣
