Ok I changed my mind. You just have to get good and plan ahead. The bosses aren't that bad, they may be annoying, but they're good enough. I still think the level design sometimes looks like it was designed by a 10 year old.

Storytime: as a very young worthog, my cool Aunt bought this for me ALONG with a new GameBoy Color. My older brother, all he had was the old Gameboy. And yet, regardless of that IMMENSE weight of supreme nostalgia: This is one of the best games ever made.

I'm with you, still playing this game time and time again, my first GBC game ever, and my first handheld game ever as well. It's difficult still and definately can be challenging if you don't know about the upgrades, strength and power ups! And back than, we didn't have guides LOL!
