it makes me wonder if it would be possible without psychic moves. cheers to having both rhydon and aggron; that's a powerful duo in it's own

With a more creative moveset, and such, I'd imagine quite so! :) Lunatone was really the one I was banking on most the run, but damn I was quite surprised on Aggron and Rhydon, the latter did almost nothing but lose, but near the end he was being a beast for sure!! :D

This is interesting a lower advantage Pokémon against a higher advantage team I must say this is worth watching

Agreed! I knew the full run itself would be pretty standard due their typing and my overall team, I did figure the league would be difficult as especially with Wallace. I mean Juan was a difficult one too, but the other gym that actually stood out was Tate and Liza, although Wallace was the most difficult, I was surprised overall because I expected just Juan and Wallace to be difficult lol!

So to quickly sum up this battle for those interested; The Wallace fight is without doubt the toughest challenge for Rock type pokemon. Juan already proved difficult, but wallace has a team of six pokemon, fast pokemon, a single surf is often enough to sweep most of my team as Lunatone is the only one capable to outspeed all of his, which was my starter for a reason. In order to actually win, I needed a strong amount of luck and I'll say it; Rhydon landing that hit was something I was not expecting, I was so certain I was screwed and had to alter my strategy. But to sum it up; I had to set up a strong enough defense to handle Wailord, meaning I had to put him to sleep, and make sure he slept 2/3 turns at least to set up. Rain dance would be used often and he woke up too often too count. Than I had to beat Tentacruel without too much damage, as without Lunatone the fight was over.Avoiding poison was lucky often due the berry. Itwas gyarados that was a strong terror, I tried to use Aggron to land thunderbolt, but it just never was enough, luckily he got so greedy with dragon dance, that my last psyhic knocked him out, allowing Rhydon to survive. Than Ludicolo appeared, a pretty risky one due double-team and leech seed, this one is more brutal than he seems, but luckily Aerial ace was within my hand, and proved to be enough, but more often he'd land water moves or just mess me up. It was Milotic that was my fear from the start of the run, and he usually used him as his fifth pokemon, meaning once I finally got to him, I'd lose right away. Milotic has toxic, a recover move and a vicious special attack, none of my pokemon could either outspeed him or survive. My only chance was to put him to sleep, for two turns so Solrock could take him down with himself, which usually failed due milotic just waking up and sweeping with surf. Worst, Solrock was my only good pokemon against wishcash due solarbeam, so whenever I was lucky enough to beat five of his pokemon, I had to improvise, knowing Lunatone might miss his move, I decided to just risk everything as Whishcash had sweeped my team over, and over in the final, but this attempt was where Rhydon said it was enough, and landed his horn drill, damn!
