Wow what a line up Tim, must have been so difficult to put them in a list. Credit to all the original owners for keeping them in such perfect condition and as always you some how manage to get hold of these fantastic machines for others to have the pleasure of owning. Being a Kawasaki nut (having the Blue ZX9R off you) I think the Z900 at number one was the right choice, but I also love the Franki Chilli Suzuki in the Corona colours. You are a top bloke and I can only wish you continued success in 2025. All the best Rich.

@ Ah that's interesting, I'm glad he looked after it. To be fair I wanted to keep it, but I have a bad lower back and it was a bit too prone for me. I now have an immaculate 2017 Z1000 Performance now which I love and much kinder on my back. Love the channel and one day I will be coming back I'm sure. 🏍

Agreed, especially as these engines are pretty much bomb proof & it is STILL great fun to ride & enjoy! We're only here once! Hopefully I already have a buyer for it & he says will use it so that's good news 🙂🙂

Mine was black with turquiose stripes. I did 80k on it and only changed the tyres and oil. I admit that the cam chain rattled a bit. I had 285 km/h out it once. But it was tuned for the pipe, unlike this one.

Stunner mate. I can tell you, my ‘75 Goldwing is the best bike I think I’ve ever ridden for pure unadulterated joy. At 5 grand, this is a total bargain for a “rider”, as you say - not for the rivet counters amongst us, but for the ones who just want to ride a period piece of utter beauty.

I had one. Sold it with 100k km on it. Such a great bike. Looked better with the 2 black chromed exhausts. And the straigt seat.

Great bike and an unusual colour ive had the same one when it came out brand new and also a 750 in black and silver, regret selling them and would have this one if i had the cash in the bank but as you say the market is tough and cost of living isn't good for us to have toy's anymore

Very good deal - I have exact same 2001 colour scheme with 9k miles on the clock , this looks in similar condition …. Obviously well cared of - I think the idle needs to be bought up a notch to 1150rpm apart from that looks and sounds great
