Originally a Swiss bike with 1 very careful owner up until imported to the UK in 2023 by a specialist importer. The service book is a dream (see photos) showing a perfect PROPER Honda dealership service record with 11 of the stamps by the same dealer
A properly serviced Honda will go for ever as we all know (even highly tuned Fireblades get past 100,000 miles) & this shows with this bike - the engine is whisper quiet with no strange noises or smoke from cold & starts on the button & runs beautifully & is an absolute credit to Honda engineering & it's 1 careful owner. It has now done 91,560 km's (56,892 miles) & please please don't let this put you off. A properly serviced & looked after bike with higher miles is probably a better bet than an abused or poorly stored lower mileage example PLUS these "R" engines were built to a very high specification
THE CONDITION AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS & VIDEO IS EXTREMELY GOOD FOR A NEARLY 40 YEAR OLD BIKE WITH THE CURRENT MILEAGE & EVERY NUT, BOLT & FASTENING IS IN JUST AMAZING CONDITION, EVEN THE EXHAUST COLLECTOR BOX THAT ARE PRONE TO ROTTING IS PERFECT - YOU NEED TO COME & SEE IT FOR YOURSELF REALLY AS "SEEING IS BELIEVING"!
It has a current MOT done in April, 2 new tyres, new battery, & was last serviced in 2023 @ 91,295 km's (56,728 miles) so just 265 km's (165 miles) ago & therefore ready to ride & enjoy & having ridden it today to take photos everything is working perfectly & it sounds superlative with those rare as hens teeth factory exhausts. I have 2 keys, 2 owners manuals (1 English + 1 German) obviously the "worth its weight in gold" stamped original owners service book, an original sales brochure & the original tool kit in it's little locked storage compartment.
Literally everything is factory original with the exception of some paintwork that has been professionally done at some point & has very minor marks to LH side front fairing trailing edge & LH side of the mudguard (please see in video). 1 key fits all locks, inside the petrol tank is like new, as are the frame, comstar wheels, instrumentation, switchgear & as previously mentioned fixings & fastenings & all the original decals/vin plates are on the bike as well - you simply won't find better for this money!
I THINK CONSIDERING ITS RARITY, CONDITION, BUILD QUALITY & PRESENTATION THIS IS AN ABSOULTE STEAL FOR SOME LUCKY PERSON
I am semi-retired & do this as a passion/pension top up - consequently my bikes are competitively priced (I have no overheads) & I believe you will not find better presented examples as I personally detail them PROPERLY with no jet washing or harsh chemicals by using waterless wash & go system & a lot of WD40.
