Bought them and the neo,very disappointed atm there to strong should of just bought 2 neos and saved the money Yea they can be turned down but then like I say may as well have to neo’s I also don’t like the feeling these out put even following all the guides for them just overpowering I’m Goona try and flog them and get another neo

I’m on version 9.6.1 I don’t have traction loss, only wheel lock and wheel slip. Also using only when pedal is pressed doesn’t work. If uncheck it it works when the pedal is pressed. But should I be using wheel slip in place of traction loss?

Yeah, i think you just need to use wheel sleep (it could be renamed with later versions).

I was pretty disappointed with how the haptics were working just out of the box, and the all the different available adjustments was borderline overwhelming. But your explanation + your settings made me 300% certain my investment was worth it, thank you!!!

has simhub since been updated i do not see traction loss *edit* nvm i actually was able to find it once i created a new profile as then it showed me the full list of effects

I have a HPR on my Simjack UT pedals. Running Simagic box and power supply. When I try to configure these in SimPro or Simhub I get no feedback in iRacing. Alternatively when I check "Vibration Pedals and Wheel" in iRacing I get feedback (albeit without any adjustable control). Any idea how I can get this working in SimPro or Simhub?

The iRacing subscription is fine, but having to purchase every car and track is frustrating enough that I’d rather not play it. This is coming from someone with a simulator setup in my man cave that cost nearly €40,000. It’s not about being cheap or unable to afford it-it’s because I find the model predatory, in my opinion. and i want no part of it!

iRacing is working on a completely new graphics engine. Built from scratch(in house) and is well in development. It's biggest draw back currently will soon be it's biggest draw card. And with everything else the iRacing has to offer, no other sim gets close.

Complete Clickbait title with no foundation or substance. iRacing is a service built around a game. Any single game title would have to build (i.e., invest) a complete infrastructure to match iRacing. Its not going to happen because that is not the business model for individual title companies.

Thank you. This is the point that no one bitching about prices ever gets or they just play dumb. You're paying for a community, service, special events, updates to everything, partnerships, hell they have paths to real racing, college series with scholarships and huge events with Nascar. But I don't understand why it cost what it does🙄🙄

@Romad_20 "...why it costs what it does." The simple, short answer is because iRacing can charge what it wants for the service due to its monopoly within the online sim racing ecosystem. IRacing (currently) has no competition. For its size (approximately 130 employees) it is considered a small business but it's annual revenue is just over 6 million. LFM is its closest competitor but pales (currently) in comparison and is on a different business model by hosting game titles as opposed to creating game content. The focus of iRacing has always been providing a service built on sim racing content - not - creating individual game titles. Yes, it has branched out with WOO 22/24 and is currently developing the new NASCAR game but its core focus remains its service. To date, it is the only company to successfully do this. To be clear, I'm not an iRacing fan boy and it certainly has its share of issues but overall it is the best option for those who enjoy competitive online sim racing.

AC Evo has nothing on iRacing. Extremely different mindsets, vision and objectives. Stop saying stupid shit lol. Assetto Corsa's online experience always been on par with Forza and GT (Not leagues racing, I'm talking about random racing servers for racing solo) iRacing has the more robust online competitive structure and is here to stay. I am looking forward to play AC Evo has my ''casual'' sim where I have fun and drift, roam and other stuff. I am not playing games when i play iRacing, I'm just racing.

LFM and WSS has changed all that for AC and ACC. There are many split online series racing now and the best part, it is free.

@@David-nb2bc Far inferior netcode, far inferior player counts, not as many series, not as integrated and simple as iRacing, SR and Licences etc... Inferior force feedback Inferior triple screen integration inferior hardware compatibility Its just not the same level so far. I dont think AC Evo's mission is to kill iRacing. I think Evo's mission is way more towards killing GT7 and Forza by blending fun, sandbox, flexibility and actually good and realistic physics. iRacing doesnt feel like a game... It's like Raceroom but with a better core and enough players to be sustainable

You have the all the insight on ACE force feedback? You sound like you all ready know all there is to for the new ACE even-though it hasn't been out yet so I guess we all need to listen to you?

@@David-nb2bc Im responding to your comments about AC and ACC bro relax. and I raced about 10 000 hours on all sims that exists in the last 8 years. iRacing has its faults, but Ive had far worse experiences in AC and ACC than I did in IRacing. Im not here to debate that ACE is shit. I hope its good. Im the first to be excited about it especially all the freeroam aspect with clubsport events or lapping days at the nordschleife in multiplayer ! However, I strongly and firmly believe that ACE's main goal is very far away from competing with iRacing. ACE is here to kill everything else basically (again, I believe). Automobilista, Raceroom, forza, Gran turismo, Project Cars 1 and 2, etc.... iRacing doesnt do realistic graphics, career mode, free roams, road vehicles, street maps, car tuning and purchasing in game, multiplayer fun modes and all that. iRacing does 1 thing, and it's replicate the competitive world around real world racing in a straight forward software that has simple UI, simple operation and very focused gameplay strictly built around the ''art'' of ''Racing'' and not ''Driving''. There is absolutely no emotions involved, car enthousiast stuff, car culture stuff, etc... When I play iRacing, I'm not having fun, I'm competing and I'm taking it seriously. Yes you could do it in AC and ACC's lobbies and leagues but it's far inferior in terms of consistency and user experience. So yeah. This video is straight BS and clickbait and ACE has nothing on iRacing from everything the devs are showing, writing and saying. and it doesnt mean it's a bad thing. I think it's great that it stays in its own line where it will eventually dominate

@@TerriblyRacing I have now tried a completely new cable, unfortunately to no avail. Everything is recognised on my wife's laptop (Windows 10). After plugging in the cable, Windows immediately reports that it has found the device and wants to install it. After a few seconds, everything was installed and a test was positive. I think this is due to my Windows 11 system (version 23H2). An unknown device is detected here - actually a typical picture of missing drivers.

I like iRacing's graphics. Its quality but also simple. For me personally iRacing's community keeps me coming back over and over. Although for me AC has more enjoyable driving physics or tyre physics. But iRacing is still king and I hope AC but can become king of multiplayer

Def like real racing and life in general. You find every advantage and aid you can to be the fastest. Def not cheating just helps you feel what we practice for. Ive always been good at finding the edge of abs activation in acc and ive always been good at defining that line of lockup in iracing. All thede did for me was allow me to know I was correct and just now helps me not have to think as hard about it which is nice yes and does help.

iRacing has a really well curated community, afforded because not in spite of it's sub-model. I don't like the sub model, but it's not because of the cost. I personally don't love the way it drives, but I don't think it's going anywhere & EVO is going to have to do a hell of a lot to take a chunk out of iRacing that other titles haven't already taken. AC1 would be absolutely nowhere if it was just vanilla, despite still feeling fantastic.

Thank you so much for sharing your gamma, threshold, and gains profile. Not sure if you mentioned it before but getting the licensed (instead of the free) version of SimHub is crucial as it enables 60Hz instead of 10Hz data which made a huge difference in the haptic feedback for me.

The issue I can see with your setup is that the seat isn't flat on the floor and parallel with your pedals, and the pedal base is at an angle instead of flat like it is designed to be so your heel won't glide across the base when you move your feet as they would in a race car - nor are you using your leg muscles fully because you are pressing downward into the pedals instead of straight forward from your waist and through the legs into the pedals. (Talking from personal experience, it makes a difference).

Thanks for this, finally getting some useful feedback on the throttle and I can feel the when the wheels are about to lock when braking. Other profiles just didn’t kick in hard enough or early enough so weren’t very helpful to let me know when I’m at the limit. Amazing!

Btw, in iracing specially, we should not activate abs right? I mean the fastest way to brake is without abs right? Cause i bought a new alpha simagic base and it gives me abs vibrations and i suddenly realized before this abs impulses i was always braking with abs, but in real life if abs is activated you probably made a calvulation mistake and your car gonna be upset. So this blew up my mind, did i really drive 1 year with always activating abs? Or is it just a wrong software? Can anyone see or experience same thing and expecially you sir, did you realize same thing when you just start the using haptic sensors?
