the car may be great, but rlaarlo as a company is horrible, from communication, shipping and support they are a 5% in my opinion, I have bought 2 of there rcs and both orders took for ever to arrive, and were complete nightmares. I would not recommend buying a rlaarlo untill local hobby stores sell them.

i can tell you don't have a lot of oval time. i just wish i would been able to make it up to bigdog this year but 2 hurricanes took my travel funds for the year and i can't wait to hit the oval to see what my 2 oval cars can do. plus run the offroad track with 1 of my 4x4s and that is where i'm the noob can count on 2 hands how many offroad races i have done.

A few guys I follow have issues too with Gorpo's.. The DJI's seem like a good alternative for an action cam.

I I ended up putting a mini b mid transmission on mine, still need to test.

Can we go back to the mid motor bandito? I feel like you where on to something making custom parts and you made left turn on this wooden chassis thing.

(I could be wrong, but) The front looks lazy in off-power turns (dive pushing). I would try a stiffer spring (front) or removing the shims under the (front) inside ball studs (aka raise the front roll-center). basically, the weight is transferring to the front but not getting on the tire (what it looks like to me). If this makes the buggy drive better, it would indicate the buggy is heavier than the previous setup. you might want to do the same to the rear.

WOOD like to see you try out an Associated RB10 and compare it to your results from the BANDITO ( I miss that car) and the Dirt Master. I'm all about being cheap (just ask my wife!😆) and still might get something to run in the novice class since I have never been any good at off road and a pro buggy really wouldn't help me much! What you learned is that the tires and inserts don't work well.. Try some pin comp tires with 3D printed inserts for super climbing on rocks..

Take the esc out & mount it up on the square flat platform, you can then get a full size lipo in. That's what that platform is intended for.
