Great and recent version of Icarus, the undisputed world-wide #1 song in whatever genre it's in. Lovely playing by Eugene, taking up David Darling's mantle.
What an honor it was for me to encounter two wolves as I was walking through a park in the Bronx, NY last night. I greated them with a smile and gave thanks to God for that special moment. Thank you Paul Winter and everyone who was involved in the making of this powerful tune 🎶

I've been trying to find a translation of these lyrics for 23 yrs. Ask many Russian friends and cannot get anything better than "I don't know" "Where am I going".

I remember hearing this on WNEW FM in the early 70s. From that I bought the album and when you came to Stony Brook in the late 70s, I saw you there with a couple friends at the time. You brought a timber wolf to the concert who just yawned when we tried to get it to howl. Thank you for the music.

I listen to a lot of different types of music, so my watch history on KZbin takes me all sorts of different places, but always I find myself coming back to this piece. There's just something so different, so inherently beautiful, that's not in so much other music.
