Am immediately transported back to 1999, listening to Portishead and Massive Attack, and Apop Beserk. This is this oily, xenomorph, Phyrexian darkness my soul has been craving for decades.

Wow, this is really unique. I saw bands like Shpongle live and I saw bands like Mayhem live, but I would have never guessed that there's such a thing as psychedelic black metal and yet here it is.

Όταν ήμουν μικρός, ο θείος μου με έβαλε σε ένα τσουβάλι και με πούλησε ως χελώνα σε έναν πλούσιο εκτροφέα ερπετών. Εκεί υπηρέτησα ως χελώνα για πέντε χρόνια πριν με σώσει ένας διεφθαρμένος αστυνομικός που ήταν επίσης προστάτης ζώων. Έπειτα έγινα μέλος μιας συμμορίας λαθρέμπορων χελωνών γιατί δεν είχα μόρφωση και μετά βίας μιλούσα. Τα μάτια μου ήταν αιμόφυρτα και η ψυχή μου κουνούσε σαν αέριο σε μπουκάλι. Όμως η αστυνομία με έπιασε και αναγνώρισα ξανά τον σωτήρα μου, για δεύτερη φορά. Όταν ενηλικιώθηκα, με μεγάλωσαν καλόγριες που έκαναν εμπόριο ερπετών. Στη συνέχεια δραπέτευσα με βάρκα στη Βενεζουέλα, όπου αντάλλαξα χελώνες και ιγκουάνα. Τώρα έχω μια δερματική ασθένεια που προκαλείται από επαφή με σαύρες και φίδια.

I cannot express how MONUMENTAL is this album for me. Such a sensory blast and a atmosphere of some dark dimension that i wanna live and walk in! Ikkikarme is something special.
