Why didnt they just get a fat chick to jump on the ground instead

Wtf is this even used for?
@Bevoin19707 күн бұрын
They don’t use these in this form anymore, it’s a Wacka-plate these days. Used to stomp the ground back down such as in when a hole was dug in a road for repairs and then filled back in before the tarmac was placed on top to finish the job.

The old Arboretum round about with the boat on it lol. I remember Walsall just like this. Its mad driving through where the new bus station is and the old one being on the right. I remember that road that went throght where the fountain is now and those walls with the crossing points

It is a very good video of the motorways around birmingham. In the late 1960s early 1970s there were fewer cars. The uk government should have extended the motorway to draffan in rural lanarkshire but it was shelved because they ran out of money. The a74 was the only fast route to north west england but it was a notorious route due to the substandard construction of the road. What happened was the road contractors constructed a road between 2 motorways the m6 and m74 with fatal consequences motorists thought it was a motorway so they drove at 70 mph. Then in the 1980s the uk government had an idea to build a motorway from draffan to the a70 junction and the cumberland gap. The 1960s road building plans wrre attrocious.

Your not supposed to put your foot on it like that. Maybe pump it a couple times without pulling the lever but then take your foot off and pull the lever and it should go off. I just watched a video on demonstration. Thats how you fuck your foot up. I cant believe these use a gas piston engine thats wild.

They weren’t used continuously from what I remember. Just short term to compact the ground when refilling a hole in a road repair. No more than 20 minutes I’d guess.
