Sean I find that in all the time that I have fished chain lake over the last 9 years they have very soft mouths and easily spit the hook.

I always find it exciting to fish a new spot and this one worked out great for you with some nice catches. Great job Sean and you'll have to hit that lake up again.

Very nice fishing buddy... and good on you keeping name of lake quiet... Caught a 51 inch pike a couple years ago (yes, i released her in good shape) in alberta... when asked which lake i caught it in... i say the one with water in it next to a green tree...lol... Watched a guy day before yesterday take 5 trout out of a lake that has 2 limit... to make matters worse he was back yesterday doing it again... and he will be the first to complain about no fish when fish stock destroyed... its a shame how badly our lakes are getting crap kicked these days... SO KEEP SECRETS... DONT TELL ANYONE.

Hi Sean, would love to know where you got your fishing rod holder from. I have a similar Pelican kayak. Thanks & appreciate your videos.

Nice catches! Monkey Lip Lake is always a treat. I suspect the lost fish are due to poor visibility - they are snapping at the lure basically as it whips by. At least it's just muddy and not full of algae.

Location if u can nice huge pikes❤️
@TTangOutdoorsКүн бұрын
Would be fun to see you catch them on topwater lures like the whopper plopper especially shallow weedline areas. Those blowups can give you adrenaline on another level.

Glad you made it out there Sean. The pike in that lake are consistently huge. I have a good theory why, but will keep that out of the comments so as to not reveal the location. This lake should be made catch and release only though in my opinion. Thanks for your careful handling and release demonstrated 👍

Fish don't often follow the script but what a change of narrative! I love seeing what is going on under the water! By the way, that first pike in the video was very pretty, the way the brilliant spots almost made stripes it looked almost like a muskie at first.

It's really cool to see the pike smashing the camera. Obviously they're hungry for big meals.

Cool underwater footage. That has to be frustrating when they want to eat the camera over your lure offerings.

If this is the lake I think it is, please don't reveal the location in your full video. It's one of very few locations where this size pike can be regularly caught, but will be fished out quickly if everyone shows up 😢

Been watching your channel for probably over a year now and decided to take my kayak and try to catch some Glenmore pike this week. Between casting and trolling landed 9 nice fish and had a great day. Probably wouldn’t have had much luck without using the info from this channel. Thanks, keep up the great videos

What a fish! I don't think I've seen you fish that lake. looks kind of murky, but nevertheless, great job👍. I fished Badger Lake yesterday, but it was slower than some of the other spots there. Nevertheless, it was beautiful out, and there was tons of surfacing Whitefish.

That’s the best part of that camera man, it really shows you what’s under the surface when that bite is slow. It teaches a very important lesson. The bite may be slow but they are still THERE. It has really helped me focus more on technique to get on fish even in the most trying outings. Great job Sean!

Same concept as ice fishing and pike mouthing the underwater camera and not giving your bait a glance
