the ifv with hover mlrs turret is suppose to be a Rocket Transport and the hovercraft with the tank turret is suppose to be the main battle vehicle for the sub faction. out of all the sub factions in the mod, this GDI sub faction was the most rushed. I needed to balance the GDI factions with the Nod counter parts, so I made this GDI faction.

@@DeusEversor yup, the construction outpost, both a barracks and a cheaper/low tech alternative to the construction yard. The goal was encourage earlier base expansion other on maps with high cliff density.

The hover tank and the Rocket Transport look that way as an attempt to mirror the art style of Tiberian Sun. As a matter of fact, the Rocket Transport is borrowed the model of the Hover MLRS as a base with additional parts from other voxels to create this one.

This video is a bit old. I definitely had issue with the vehicles of this sub faction, especially the rocket transport. Also, rocket transport has a passenger cap of 2 with addition of early drop pod reinforcements creates an interesting game play dynamic. The Radar for this faction has a Drop Pod upgrade.

well it does look like genuine tibsun from 98 ;) and well made, one thing id suggest, is the tracked heavy mlrs having higher range than deployed joggernaught ( now called Behemoth?)

The intention of the Heavy MLRS is to be an alternative to the Hover MLRS for this sub-faction, that's why I lowered the range of that unit because unit does not deploy. This sub-faction replaces the juggernaut with the Behemoth which is short range while mobile but has a finite long range attack when deployed which fire 2 sets of bursts.

@@Pavement390 okay, just dont make heavy mlrs just a reskin of hover one. Does it at least fire a bigger salvo (more projectiles) or higher damage? sure it's not a himars/scud, which would need a deployment, but still, it is a heavy unit, tracked, surely it can do better than a hovercraft. usually rocket artilleries have higher range than traditional arty.

@@DeusEversor It fires 4 missile compared to 2 and the missiles have slightly higher range. The missiles also have a scatter effect also. The vehicle is also better against infantry compared to the hover mlrs. In all respects, it is a hover mlrs on tracks, that was intentional. The vehicle behaves more like a the missile tank from dune 2000 then a traditional rocket artillery.

I don't know machine code or any programming. The original patch was done by someone else I just made a work around using map code in the client. Conditions, loops, and arrays. Beginner level programming, that is basically it. Patching an EXE, that is beyond my abilities. Speaking of Vienhole monsters, I had some strange occurrences where they spawned in random places twice. I wasn't able to replicate this occur. I don't know how or why it happened. Kind of eerie that you told me that.

Sounds good. The Twisted Insurrection Team removed this purple Tiberium since its v0.8 update, which is really a pity. Happy to see it resurrects in this mod, but I think it's better to generate Ion Storm surrounding the mine field, not to hit the mine itself, preventing the chain explosive reaction. So that the mine could gradually accumulate, and it's fun to see the Aboreus field expands to become an Ion Storm threat walking to players. (^∀^)

The Hunter Seeker is buildable if the player has a Helipad and a Dropship Bay. Essential, in the mod, the Hunter Seeker is an Aircraft unit that can be controlled by the player and AI. In the Original game, the Hunter Seeker was Launched from the Temple of Nod or GDI Upgrade Center. The Hunter Seeker from the original game is not controllable and cannot be shotdown by anti-air.
