Hervorragend wie die Hände der Dirigentin die Musik und den komplexen Text in den richtigen Ton & Taktung bringen und Musiker & Sänger auf ihre Hände achten. ...

This was too quick for my liking, it felt rushed, particularly at the beginning, however when the voices came in it sounded wonderful.

One of St Olaf’s choirs did this for the Christmas Festival of 2018 I believe. So glad I had a program so I could look the song up to listen again.

A stunning and beautiful arrangement! Samuel Barber’s masterpiece has long been one of my all time favorite pieces of music, both in its original string version and the Agnus Dei choral version. Each of them rank among the most hauntingly beautiful pieces of music ever written, both joyous and sorrowful at the same time. I never expected to find a version that combines both string and choral elements! Thank you for this ❤

Very well and beautifully played and sung. For me, your tempi and transparency took this composition to a (much) higher lever.!!

I love the small choir and ensemble approach. The sound is crisp and clear. How the singer in the audience sounded like is beyond my imagination. Every singer and instrumentalist is superb. It seems to me that the conductor had great control of the dynamics with the smaller ensemble. This is one of my favorite German Requiem performances.
