My badger 5 just sprung a leak. How many years did your old one last (if you can remember when you bought it)?
@WanderFixThrive Жыл бұрын
First one that came with the house was 6 years, my second one that I bought lasted 8 years. It also depends how you take care of it.

Came here to learn but don’t remember a thing because I was mesmerized by her. She’s as cute as a wink. I think the gist of the story is youre supposed to get hammered and end up electrocuted after installing the thing. By the way shes fashionable AF. Blouse is exquisite and then the sweater thing on top of the blouse. lord have mercy. And nice try trying to make hair look discheveled girl, you failed! Your hair looks gorgeous. And when you said: “i use my fingers to turn the thing and find the hole and something about lefty loosy goosy” i made sure to memorize that. Thank you

Thank you so much Sarah for sharing this great experience with us. I used apple cider vinegar for a month and still using everyday and before I even came across your video. It helped me tremendously. I had severe vertigo more than a year ago and it knocked me down for almost 2 months. I was unable to walk. Thank God I am more than 95% cure. God bless you.

Sarah, you're awesome! I did not like your video, I loved it. You're smarter than the average plumber, and with a plumbers crack that gives the plumbers crack a new definition. I never thought how easy it was to replace a garbage disposal, but after your video, I got tough and brave and went out and bought one. I'm just replaying your video so I don't make a mistake, but I think I'm concentrating too much on the beautiful plumbers crack you have. Please make more videos. My only suggestion is to try to avoid relative pronouns such as this, that, it, etc.. Read the proper nomenclature of the parts you are working with and your videos will be so much more awesome. After the first 5 times I watched your video, and payed attention to the parts, I tried to figure out what the relative pronouns you were referring to. You know what you are thinking and talking about, but the audience, or maybe just me who failed mind reading 1-0-1, and I took it twice, failed it twice, so think about using nomenclature such as for this video: stopper, Quite collar, sink flange, rubber gasket, fiber gasket, back up flange, mounting ring, three 1-1/2 inch screws, snap ring, lower mounting ring, dishwasher inlet, drain plug, tail mount, discharge tube straight, discharge tube angled, hose clamp, 1/4 inch wrenchette, and finally disposer. I know that you did not remove the assembly at the sink, but when you do a video and you do remove the assembly, please refer to each part's nomenclature. I'm only giving you this advise because you are the very few videos I watch over and over because I love your clarity and calmness of voice. You are very fluent and eloquent; besides being very beautiful. Great work, Stay safe FJB Out!

On AC circuits (this is an AC circuit) the black wire is the hot wire, the white wire is the neutral wire (sometimes called a return) and the green wire is called the ground wire. Always connect the white wire to a white wire, the black wire to a black wire, and the green wire to another green wire or to some metal object.
@brianscottmusic75673 жыл бұрын
The white one is the coolant! Seriously, very good and thorough video. Thank you

Thank you for explaining this in girl language. I just installed my replacement Badger 5 with your help and I’m feeling “F Yeah” excited about it. I bought the one with the electrical plug already installed so that part was easier. I also did a little further research and learned about the “Dr. Disposal” installer tool that really made the lifting part easy. The most satisfying part of the whole project was when the guy at the hardware store asked me who was installing it, “I am” has never sounded sweeter.

They do have plug and play ones without having to do the wiring. Just turn off the breaker first, uninstall it then install it and then turn breaker back on. I cleaned up my pipes while I did it.

Vertigo episodes were common with me. They commonly lasted for a week. It was demanding and terrible. I started taking dizziness vertigo answer when I was battling a small vertigo episode right after enduring a week long attack in March. The vertigo seemed to go away rather quickly. I think I forgot to say this a few years ago, but thank you SO much. This video saved my butt from a $750 charge from the landlord! I was at a point where I really didn't have that kind of money and it would have put me in a really bad situation. I easily repaired the disposal myself, and avoided the charge completely!
