Amen! Man’s biggest problem is sin which leads to eternal death! Let us then with courage and boldness bring the Good News to the lost - share God’s story, saving souls from hell! That is the Gospel = The redemption of souls! Hallelujah.

Genesis is in the Old Testament? Rabbi Tova Singer stated emphatically that there is no statement in the old testament about the trinity. In fact there is no statement that contradicts Deuteronomy 6:4-15 KJV - Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: 5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

I think this may be "Two Men, Two Meals" that you are referring to because Pastor Philip talked about how the most fulfilling and joy-giving thing we can do is to reveal Christ to others and to do the will of God. The team is in the middle of editing this sermon this week and it should go up this week! Feel free to email [email protected]

Remembering this is so key because so often I see with my own eyes, my job, my chores, my tasks, my rest. Oh how His eyes look at the work He has for me so differently. Looking at the outpouring from me how it is not mine. It is in fact His and has to be His, His light, His saltiness, His rest, His works prepared in advance to be done. Oh how I can choose to be those things yielding to the Father by His grace.

I heard a clip yesterday of a woman asking what the actual gospel “good news” is. She said it isn’t only “God will bring you peace and joy”, although these things are true. She said you have to think about this as if you were talking to someone who will die right after you speak to them, what is the good news that will apply to them? They won’t live long enough to see God answering prayers in that way… they will be standing before the judgement seat of God in a minute. What they need to know is that they are lost and dead in their sins, that their sin separates them from the holy, good, loving God. That God made a way for them to be rescued from their sin, and he did this by becoming a man, and dying in their place, taking the judgement of God against their sin though he had done no wrong, and if they trust in Jesus for this, He will impute His right-standing before the Father to them so they can be in paradise with Him forever. This is the hope we have!
@justlovinggod2 ай бұрын

Oh how the love of God, what He's done for us creates such an urgency to share the goodness of His death and resurrection. Each moment as someone slips into eternity and their fate is sealed either for glory or for destruction is a moment to rescue another soul. I pray that every Christian would hear this and recognize this deep in their soul and that they would be pushed with compassion for lost souls creeping towards eternal death.

Yes, sometimes we wait a long time. Moses waited 40 years in the wilderness tending sheep before he came back to lead the people of Israel out of slavery. Abraham waited 25 years for Isaac to be born, and even then he was willing to give him up for the Lord. God has to be the true object of our desires, our first love and our purpose. Sometimes he withholds things for our good and we have to trust him with that.
