In Alhambra, Calif. city will be on your Deed 55 years. And renew after that. But you will still be responsible for taxes, insurance upkeep of property. ADU overcrowds communities. Parking will be a mess. Property taxes will skyrocket, school will be over crowded. Homeowners insurance will skyrocket. Only low income can rent these small units.

I lived on Tareco Drive for awhile with my boyfriend, at his grandparent's home. Their house was the first to be built in the Hollywood hills, the first, 1923 if I remember right. I saw a picture of it that they had, it was just their house, some trees, and the infamous sign. We had our wedding party at that house, which sadly would be it's last. It was sold in 2001 to people who totally destroyed it, tore it down and a generic Mediterranean was built on the property. It sold for under a million dollars, which was also shocking, but the remaining family heirs simply didn't care, just wanted it done with, and took the first offer. 😢Sad...

LA is definitely a great place for podcasts, self help, and entrepreneurial content in general. Have you thought about visiting and seeing how a few shorter trips go? I came for a month before I made the move. Then a few months later, I did three months , and then the three months ended up being long-term! Ultimately, it’ll come down to how good you are at networking .
