Yes, the adult seat does close slowly! My grandson is just now starting potty training so my daughter and her partner are using this now and they love it! I have one at my house as well, so I'm ready for when they come visit. ❤️

That's a great question. With the Stanley, their Care & Use directions, they state, "Please use caution when drinking hot liquid directly from your mug or water. If you have purchased a water bottle, please note that this item was designed for a high flow rate appropriate for drinking cold liquid. Drinking hot liquid too quickly can lead to scalding." So they do not recommend it for hot drinks. That being said, they are insulated, so it should retain the heat for at least some amount of time, but I'm not sure how long. With the Soulfull brand (the teal and purple one), they advertise it as being able to keep things hot for 10 hours. The Soulfull one has a smaller straw so the intake of a hot beverage would be much slower. I personally don't drink coffee and haven't tried either of these tumblers with any other hot drinks. Welcome to my KZbin channel!

It's super easy! Pull the mouthpiece about halfway up and then grab it between your thumb and forefinger and then just pull it out at the angle the mouthpiece is pointed! There's no hidden hinge or hard to reach crevices to try to clean. You can run it under warm/hot water and, if needed, use a bottle brush to clear the inside. You can also soak it in warm, soapy water for great results as well. Then rinse and push it back into place by doing the above in reverse; line it up and push. I hope this helps!

💯 will last a lifetime if taken care of! I was devastated when mine were dropped and I have the smallest of scratches on one of the lenses! But I really can't complain because it could have been so much worse. I love mine and I've had them for what feels like forever! I wish I had my original ones, though. That would've been very cool! 😎

Good question. I'll answer in two parts. The first part is what comes from Stanley's Care & Use packet. "Do not use sealable items with carbonated or fermenting beverages or foods. Doing so may cause pressure buildup and lead to lid failure and spills, which can scald, or forceful ejection of lid and contents which can cause injury." So they are basically saying if you use carbonated beverages in it there's a risk involved. The second part of my answer is that I have drank carbonated soda from my Quencher H2.0 tumbler, but have not yet with my Quencher ProTour Flip Straw. With that, I cannot say if it would leak or not. My guess would be no as it is sealed extremely tight, but when you stood it upright and opened it, it might squirt some of it out the spout/mouthpiece as the pressure is relieved from the carbonation. I hope this helps some.

Hey, thanks, Adam!!! I really appreciate your feedback! I would say that it all depends on a couple things. My lifestyle is that I work from home and most of the time I am close to a place where I can refill my tumbler when it's empty. If you are out and about a lot with yours, I'd go for the bigger one. I did take my 30 oz to town with me today and I noticed a couple things. The 40 oz seems to fit a bit better in the cup holder because where the bottom of the handle hits on the 30 oz... it's low enough that it held it up just a tiny bit from the bottom of the cup holder whereas the 40 oz the bottom of the handle was high enough it did not impede the bottom of the cup reaching the bottom of the cup holder. I also drank all the water up and wasn't near a water source to refill it, which was a bit of a bummer. I hope this helps! And again, I really appreciate your feedback!

​​@@amazingfindsbylori I knew it was green tea(matcha). I use matcha to keep my teeth and gums clean. You can just look at it and tell matcha is the main ingredient. I have a whole bag of pure matcha at home.

So they don't recommend drinking hot drinks from them. I don't drink coffee and only drink hot tea on rare occasions, I have not tried it myself with any of my insulated bottles or tumblers. They are insulated, so theoretically, because they are insulated you should be able to use it for hot beverages but again, they don't recommend it. Regarding the flip cover, I tried the FlipStraw cover from my Quencher H2.0 water bottle and it does interchange with my Quencher ProTour FlipStraw top!
