You have to be kidding me. You have a threaded brake on a rifle that is for the consumer market. You have installed that brake so tight that I need a blocks and vise to get it off and maybe a dead blow hammer. What were you thinking?

Why doesn't the manufacturer tighten the 10 ft/lb? I can't remove my muzzle brake.

I have one with both barrels. Love it yes it’s pricey but great idea. I hate to see the complaining about it. If it sells someone will buy it. Stop complaining let them have fun with it

I'm definitely not disassembling things to the point that you are, unless I absolutely have to. I just don't feel comfortable doing that. We'll see. 🤔

I use the magazine to pop out the pin. It works just as well. Use the top edge of the magazine directly in front of the bullet. It fits nicely behind the pin to pop it out.

I saw him perform at an indoor mall in the early 70's when I was a little kid. He must have fired 50 blanks while there. He did a gun safety part of his show, and demonstrated how dangerous blanks were. The show was aimed at kids

For those looking to put your MK3 back together, a much better tutorial exists by the channel Hammer Striker. You can reassemble these guns in less than 30 seconds if you know what you're doing, but you won't get there listening to this goober.

I've bought 6 AR's. So far, Ruger and Colt are the only ones that I haven't had the need to add anything to the rifle. I can rock both of them with just iron sights. No extra optics, none of the extra "appliances"....just straight out the box, and rock n roll.

I'm very impressed and interested in what this weapon offers. I have had a hard time finding one at a reasonable price, lately. Does anyone know where I can look for it within CONUS?

I sure wish I could have had something to do with the design of the Mini 14. What a piss-poor design. It wouldn't take a whole lot to rectify all its shortcomings, but I'm sure Ruger klowns would pitch a fit defending the junky haff-ass design.

20" 308, Gas Setting 3, several hundred rounds without a failure. Haven't looked the brass over yet but I'll get to that on the next range trip. Really digging the two stage trigger. Love the rifle but my shoulder is taking a beating. Any ideas on finding a better butt pad that fits on the existing magpul stock?

Ruger sent me a new gas regular,, and a little advise for anyone else having problems.. Update the regulator , they will send you one free,, easy,,, number two disassemble the gun and slightly oil the entire thing,,, Fix all the problems I was encountering. They are shipped a little dry and need to have some oil on all the parts inside,, don't slather the whole thing just do a good oil job.. It helps 100 percent.. ( I learned this from a TM22) which I bought and it was DRY inside ( just kind of Greece) it did the same thing as the Ruger ( would eject shells, wouldn't fire, would n't feed) cleaning an oiling thing from the factory is a good idea, 100% improvement on both !!

One question/critique, at the 2:44 time mark where you are discussing cleaning the barrel, you say to use a brass or nylon brush, but you give the demonstration of using the brush by inserting it from the muzzle end of the barrel. I was always taught to clean a barrel from the chamber end, if at all possible, to decrease the potential of scratching/damaging the rifling at the muzzle exit. Just my two cents, but that's how I was always taught, both by my dad and Uncle Sugars small arms instructors.

It’s my understanding that the bolt has to be in cocked position before removal-correct? The instructions state that the firing pin has to be cocked when reassembled…that’s not mentioned in your video.

I had top safety award points at our company Christmas party and Won the SFAR in .308. It was set to gas setting 3 out of the box. Took it out today and mounted a Sightmark Wraith on top. On setting three I noticed some extractor marks on the brass. Turned it down to 2 and it ran fine. Seven shots playing with the Zero to get it on the money at 100 yards. Long story short version Both the SFAR and the Sightmark ARE Tack Drivers! I Am well pleased with the rifle and scope. Taking it deer hunting tomorrow.
