I've been wanting some good sweet tamales, but nowhere makes them like this anymore. I've never made any kind of tamales before, but I'm definitely going to try and do it with your recipe. Thank u. Happy New Year. Do u sell tamales? 🎉🎉❤

Thank you for this mild beef tamale recipe. Most videos have pork tamales or if their beef they use hot chilies. My family and I don't have much a tolerance for hot stuff so these look like they might do the trick.

This is a solid recipe ! Second year making it . The only additions I did was add a few more green chiles and once we add everything for the final 30 mins I blend just a bit of hominy w the broth and put it back in the pot just to help thicken the broth a bit ( don’t overdo the hominy for thickening though or the hominy taste will overpower the salsa taste )

Tanya from AZ, but El Paso originally. I made your tamales today. I added powdered milk and a little anise and nuezes, and omg, chica; they are the bomb! thanks for this video and i did subscribe and like. xoxo cant wait to watch the rest of your vids. thanks again y Feliz Navidad! oh, and I used the candied pina instead of canned, for the chuncks, but I did use one can of crushed Pina as well. I used jumbo Chardonay raisins, too. so beautiful and tasty/ yum! Que rico esso, no? lol...oh. and i used light brn sugar.

They actually use butter, at least I do, and I buy unprepared masa and add all the ingredients pineapple ,raisins, cinnamon , sugar, coconut, and the butter instead of lard

Wouldn't roasting the veggies be equivalent to frying or no?

My suegra does this also. She hosts a Posada every year so to stretch it she does chicken and pork pozole. She get chicken drums and quarters on sale and uses it for the pozole. She able to feed 50+ people with a meaty hearty pozole. She don't skimp on the pig feet. That's an essential ingredient in her eyes. Got to have the hominy. Of course the toppings: cabbage or lettuce, onions, radish, cilantro, lime, tostada, oregano, a spicy salsa or Chile oil, and corn tortillas. Everyone leaves happy.

You are the only one who uses fresh masa, not that bag stuff. My mother always used fresh prepared masa and still prepared it more, which I don't see anyone do. Love seeing the way you do your's keep up the good work.
