Fabulous. Thrilled this just appeared in my youtube feed. Loved Spyboy album and this is the best concert from that period I've seen. Buddy is such a great musician. Love the bass player too.

Must be very hard for an artist to sing a song with the original singer/ songwriter standing next to them, playing with the band. Kudos to Emmylou and Rodney Crowell for this performance!

An ethereal voice that melts my heart. And coming from such a beautiful woman. My favourite female singer/artist of all time.
This is one of the worst country music singers ever. It sounds like a dying cow. Sorry! I'm sure she's a nice lady. Love her as a human being. ❤✝️❤

She thought it was just another song, at her young age, not aware that this will be her the top hit song of her carrier. Epic! Listening it for 40 years.

we don't know what she thought. she might have damn well known. she's a brilliant musician.

What a killer band. Tony even has a Moog Taurus bass pedal system. I have only seen Chris Squire (Yes) use one before. Emmylou is singular in her voice which is a thing of beauty and power. She got it right when she said got have more guitar...and chose Buddy Miller for that important part. Blade on drums/percussion is so perfectly spot-on too I'm kind of gobsmacked they can make such a glorious noise without additional musicians. Love Hurts may be the best version I've heard her do of this classic. Just amazing and probably my favorite Emmylou ever.

This looks so much fun yet another string to Emmylou's bow .I'm sure that I would break my ankle if I tried that.

I love the song, "Home" by The Whites. Great vocals by the lady singing lead here.

You know this is early Emmy Lou, look at those eyebrows 😂 Hot Band is the best band she ever played with , notwithstanding a few substitutes along the way

Ohhh. Saw Emmy in 2008? 2009? Here in Boise Idaho at the Egyptian Theater, 3 Gals and a Buddy. And she sang all my favorites from this Album. Quarter Moon on a Ten Cent Town. I samg along and cried. It was as if thst Concert was for me. She had sung the sound track of my life almost 46 years.

There's 4/14 of these songs that are related to Gram Parsons in one way or another. What a loyal and loving friend he had in Emmylou Harris. Remarkable!
