Looks fun! Nice right! How many automatic transmissions have you went through? Cause i have a 92 tracker with the auto trans and getting 3:1 t-case gear and twin sticks put in it right now and I have a spool in the rear and have a suzuki samurai 3rd member with a special bracket welded to it with a locker in the front and runnin 33 12.50s on it. I'm just praying I don't start goin through transmissions cause I heard they suck!
@trashpandaoffroad354817 күн бұрын
Only had to do one transmission so far but it wasn't from the tires and all the wheeling. The 3 spd auto is notorious for going out over time.

Do you change the fluid and filter ever so often like a few times a year or how you do your 3 speed? What lockers did you run in ur tracker before u put the yota axles under it? Sorry for all the questions lol I'm just curious about the lockers cause there are so many different ones and didn't know if you preferred one over the other
@trashpandaoffroad354816 күн бұрын
@Dust1220 I don't change the fluid that often because the Tin Top tracker (Trash Panda) is a trail rig only. It doesn't see many miles. If i think water may have gotten in or something feels wrong i will mess with it but mostly I leave it alone. When it was on the factory axles I just ran a spool in rhe rear and an open front. Spooks are cheap and I didn't want to lock up the front for fear of breaking something since I was running 35s

@FaultlesslyUseful ya. The 3spd is in the 2 dr and the 4dr has the 4 spd. The 3spd usually start to do that eventually. Try using some sea foam for transmissions. That will help

If it is the 3spd auto, they commonly go bad. Usually what happens is it won't shift until everything is warned up. If that's your issue try some sea foam for transmissions. That's usually a short term solution. That and extra ATF go down the dipstick tube.
